I do so much shopping on the internet that I spend quite a lot of time at the sorting office picking up parcels! They have always been friendly and helpful and I have never had any problems. When I was there the other day they were helping the lady in front of me and were really going out of their way to help her (bit annoying for me as I had to wait longer!) There are a couple of visitors spaces right outside so parking is rarely a problem. read more

What an absolute nightmare!!!! moved on 30th December 2019, now 25th February 2020, not received 1 letter to date, no answers, cannot get through on the Redhill sorting office telephone number, spent over £15 on calling the peak rate customer service number, still no joy!! Very unhappy and not one person wishes to call you back. I have not received very important mail such as driving licenses, V5 forms, pension information, passport. This service really is not acceptable. read more

I have been here many times with packages awaiting collection. Never have i had a problem with them. All Royal Mail depots are located in the most randomist of area, however the staff are very friendly read more

The staff in the delivery pick up parcel bit are ok and friendly but the postmen are rubbish, always delivering wrong stuff to wrong addresses, and today, after watching me go, he dumped the whole of the close's post in my postbox, including recorded and signed for, through my postbox cos he is clearly lazy and cant be bothered to do his job properly read more

Lovely staff, very helpful, and I have always been assisted efficiently and with a smile. However, as of the 1st March 2011, the parking spaces right outside the office are not available, in fact there is no vehicular entry at all allowed to the compound (unless you are driving a red van with Royal Mail printed on the side). The surrounding roads are all double yellows. Well planned? Er no, but if you are a traffic warden, nip down to Redhill sorting office - easy pickings as mums struggle with toddlers and babies, cars on hazards on double yellows, to collect their mail. Well done, whoever dispensed with the customer parking spaces outside - a real user friendly stroke of genius! NOT. And a bit of a shot in it's own foot by the Royal Mail, as customers will opt for the redelivery service, instead of collection. Or perhaps this is actually a postman job creation scheme? My rating is for the lack of parking, not for the lovely staff who would get a 5 out of 5 apart from the member of staff who removed the parking, who should be hung drawn and quartered. read more

The more recent reviews are spot on! The reason the line is engaged when you ring back is because someone else is trying, no doubt unsuccessfully, to get through! And there is absolutely nowhere to park! Yellow lines everywhere, no disability parking, no parent and child parking, nada! It's not good enough, Royal Mail. If you're not going to provide us with somewhere to park, at least answer your phones. Then we can rearrange delivery. I spoke with Head Office and supposedly someone, somewhere was run over by a mail truck in a delivery office car park??? Didn't hear that on the news, but that is why Redhill Office have now barred the public from their car park. Shame it's not in a more accessible location. I am able to walk, but a lot of people are not so fortunate, and not everyone has the Internet! read more

The staff maybe helpful when you inconvenience yourself to get down to the delivery office in person, however, providing customers with the above number is useless as one person rightly reviewed that they never answer their phone which is extremely annoying and highly unprofessional. After ringing for hours and hours my call has not been answered and yet when I left a small gap of 2 seconds to ring back again the phone was engaged. This makes it even more obvious that they simply ignore calls. Now I will have to get there myself in which case there is not even a guarantee that my parcel will be with them. So I would have not only wasted my time but my money as well for no good reason. Thank you very much Royal Mail for the wonderful service! read more

The staff are always helpful if you can get there or get hold of them, as a mum of 3 with 2 little ones i cannot collect as easily now due to no parking near the office, and they never answer their phone, i have sat today from 10 am to 1pm constantly ringing the above number with no answer. No impressed read more
