We opted for a mani-pedi treatment with a stone massage, and oh my gosh, it was absolute bliss! Trish and Ellie worked in perfect sync, making sure we were both relaxed and pampered throughout the entire experience. The wine and margarita bar was a lovely touch, adding to the luxurious feel of the salon. What truly impressed me was the attention to detail and care that Trish and Ellie showed us. They took the time to understand our individual nail and skin concerns, and tailored the treatment to meet our specific needs. I have been there twice in the last 3 months. First of all, they got me for a pedicure for $65 when I said I just wanted the cheapest one. I gold them yesterday said I wanted the cheapest one and they got me for 55, till I noticed, and I told him this isn't the one I wanted. Well, he shows you a brochure and he doesn't have the $45 one in there. He doesn't even give you a chance he just shows you so quickly. I've been in sales and this is the rudest place. I've been to. Never never again. Nothing's ever changed with this company. It's been the same since I've been on this side of town for 15 years Then they put $1.65 on your credit card. I have been going here for YEARS! Before the new owners and have continued with the new owners.. I have never had a bad service... the last two pedicures I have been in for have been awkward!!! The new owners have installed cameras and you can see them moving around.. this last Sunday I was the ONLY customer in - I happened to go right at opening... the camera kept moving around and then would stop over my nail tech and I --- it was so uncomfortable to feel like you are being watched.... You can see it move to watch what the other staff are doing --- At one point I waved... The last time I was there it was the same... you see the cameras moving around and stopping at customers and techs... Be respectful- put signs up that say you will be videoing and if there is sound... it's creepy and weird! I don't want to find a new Salon but this is getting to be too much... read more

I completely hate being mean but I absolutely cannot say anything nice about this place. Here goes - if you are looking for a place that's the equivalent of scraping the bottom of the barrel, Royal Nail & Spa is it. From the minute my daughter and I walked through the door - everything was a complete disaster, unprofessional, dirty, unsanitary, disorganized, and questionably trained staff. From the way we were "greeted", told to check-in, handed the nail colors, and assigned to "nail techs," I wanted to bail. We had booked two appointments for Shellac manicures - there was literally nothing remotely close to a manicure - advertised as a "Nail trim, shaping, cuticle oil, lotion massage & gel polish." NOT EVEN CLOSE - no nail trim, lotion massage, "shaping" was marginal (I had to re-file mine because of all of the rough edges), as was cuticle oil & gel polish (especially for my daughter). But we were charged the FULL price. Both of our technicians were on the phone and texting throughout our manicures, especially my daughter's technician, who screwed up her nails, was freaked out about black polish, and ended up placing the UV nail lamp on her finger causing it to swell and bruise. I unbelievably and stupidly tipped them because it's Christmas but I really regret it especially after finding out what happened to my daughter. I wish I could give them ZERO stars. This is the ABSOLUTE WORST nail "salon" I have EVER been to. I/we will NEVER return and will be sure to share our experience on every single site that we can. If I could give zero stars, I would. This place is awful! The man that did my nails has now infected four of my fingers. He drilled into my skin, which is now infected needing to be treated with antibiotics, because he never sprayed with alcohol. He also double dipped in the cuticle oil right after, so now.. the next person he does the to, will have possibly my blood contaminated in the oil. Absolutely disgusting. When I called to ask for a refund so I could apply that towards my urgent care bill. The dark haired lighter skinned girl (I recognized her voice from being in there) was beyond rude. Instantly started yelling at me, twisting my words, demanding I come in to show them. Which I offered to send pictures and proof because I'm leaving on vacation. Then she hung up on me! I've been going to this salon for two years b/c it is a convenient location for me. I have the day off today and was so looking forward to popping in for a pedicure. I walked in the door at 9:45 in the morning. There were no less than 9 employees in the salon - I did not see one other customer. They all looked so annoyed when I walked in. It took a bit before anyone asked why I was there. The lack of energy and seeming annoyance changed my mind about giving this place my business. I don't know if the workers are treated poorly by the owners or what, but it is a miserable place for a service that should be something I could enjoy. Our experience started with gel polish being removed and then told they charge $5 for this. Never have been charged for polish remover of any kind before and should have been told PRIOR. Then they kept trying to upsell us to use gel polish. We said no thanks multiple times. Their attitude changed when we declined. We had purchased a special package with leg massage and such and it was sub par, because they seemed miffed we didn't chose a more expensive polish option. I would NOT recommend this place. Prices are great, and who doesn't love feet self care lol. They cut your toes nails for you and take off all of your calluses. (My feet have never felt softer). Some techs are better than others of course, but what's important to me is that each time I've gone they've all been respectful and made sure I was satisfied and happy. Have gone here twice. Once to get eyebrows done with my boyfriend and they botched his so bad. I felt terrible since it was his first time getting a wax and now he's scarred and won't ever try again. The second time I went was to get acrylics. I showed her a picture and asked if she could do it. If she had said no I would've just gotten a simple color and been fine, but since she said yes I went for it. My nails came out like a 2 year old scribbled on my hands. There were hairs trapped and incased in the gel so it looked messy. These were my birthday nails so I was upset. I always am nice because I know mistakes happen so I showed I was not too happy with them kindly and she said "the picture was too difficult" and charged me $80. Full price. My gel pedicure from beginning to end was less than 30 minutes. All the good parts you want in a pedicure- relaxation and massage- weren't there. When I was getting my nails done that one girl came by and said something in Vietnamese and ended the sentence with "escort" probably saying it looks like escort nails I guess with the color I chose (light pink glittery color?). She obviously didn't know it's the same word in English but who are you making an ugly comment on my preference? Not even just that, what they call manicure did NOTHING around my nails and cuticles at all, the file hardly touched my nail within two seconds and they charge $35 for that?! Never going back again.
