Stay away. Marina management is terrible. Only concern is the restaurant. Gravel lot, not handicap friendly, not even for a walker, let alone a wheelchair. I am a boat owner with a handicap. The Owner has signs posted the reserve all parking near the docks for the restaurant from 10 AM - 10 PM. Ridiculous. A marina that does not cater to anyone ambulatorily impaired should not be in business. The mere fact that there are empty slips here when no other marinas in the area have any says volumes about this place. read more

Terrible place to keep your boat docks are falling apart. Electricity is poor. Had some damage to shore cords went to the owner and he denied there was any electrical problems even after I had talked to the electricians that they hired to deal with the issue. They did eventually make it right but being lied to was not the way to handle the situation first off. Over all most of the Marina staff was unfriendly .This review is no reflection of the restaurant. It's managed separately and I have always enjoyed the staff and food. read more

Management care is only for the restaurant and not the marina. No handicapped parking and lot is gravel. Only marina between Sarasota and Boca Grande that has available slips. There's a reason for that. Food is meh. read more

This marina sucks! Do not store your boat here, unless you want to use it when it's convenient for them! They recently renovated their forklift area and we (the storage customers) were told it would take 2 weeks. It took over 4 weeks and I am still being billed for the storage (@ $250 per month)! I was told I would get a credit on my card. Ha. That hasn't happened either! This morning (12/31/20) I called at 11:45 a.m. to have the boat put in the water for New Years day. I was told "we're closing in 10 minutes"! Nobody notified me they'd be closing, so I am just S.O.L. until Saturday. I can't wait to pull my boat out of this shitty marina! Like another customer added, I'd give them no stars if I could. read more

Place was great. Hamburger was done right. Shrimp tacos were packed with shrimp. Wait staff was great. Totally enjoyable experience

We came in to the Tiki Bar for dinner and the place was packed. Waitresses were run ragged and not able to provide anything but bare minimum service. We sat forever before even being acknowledged, then again for drinks, food order, and refills. Orders came out wrong, and the re-ordered food never appeared. There seemed to be two waitresses working both inside and outside areas. I've given it three stars anyways because The food that did come out was good and the wait staff was clearly just overwhelmed but not unfriendly. They also have live music! read more

Would give this place no stars if i could. Came here while on vacation with my boyfriend, and scheduled to rent a boat. I has specifically asked if we would have any problems because i am 18 and my boyfriend is 22 (he HAS a boaters license). they had told us it would be no issue that all we need is our drivers license. the day i went in to rent the boat, the lady with curly hair who claimed she was the dock master instantly gave us an attitue asking how old we are. i had said that i specifically asked if we would have this problem and she started yelling at me that she doesnt take argumentative people!! when all i had said was what i was told on the phone... although my boyfriend ended up being able to drive the boat, i was not giving my money to a company that doesnt know how to treat their customers. It's not fancy, and it's not real pretty....but it is a hidden gem in the heart of Old Englewood. Located on Lemon Bay it has Old Florida charm and a laid back island feel. The food is good, they have a full service bar, live music on weekends. My husband and I go there once a week. They boast some pretty sunsets too! read more

Sadly we were good customers of the Marina for years, always paying our monthly fee on time and being understanding when there were forklift issues and we were unable to use our boat. We needed to sell our boat quickly and the management decided we were not entitled to our month security deposit as they required 30 days notice. It is not like the Marina is full, nor did they have to do anything to our rack space. I am completely disappointed in how things turned out and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Bad Boat Service....simple job that took almost two months to complete. Several calls to them and always excuses. Finally got the boat back. Bimini top ruined because they didn't put it down for a storm. Inside the cuddy cabin soaked because they don't close things up. This was after several times I drove by and complained and closed the boat up myself because of heavy rain forecasts. Frankly I'd rather sell my boat than ever have to deal with them again. Very unprofessional. If you con't value your boat then by all means take it to Royal Palm Marina to work on. read more

In Feb of 2015 I found out Royal Palm was back in the hands of previous owner(John) from approximately 4 years ago.. Apparently the owners from a couple years ago defaulted...I had a couple mechanical issues with one of my twin Suzuki motors on my boat and after finding out the old owner was back I brought it in...Great mechanics and a job well done. It's great to have this Marina back! read more
