Boojum Tree Hidden Gardens - Ceremony in courtyard facing the fountain

Dream(wedding)s can come true with Jennifer & her team!! I'm still speechless with how amazing…read moreeverything went on 10/11/25. We opted for the all in package where Boojum coordinated with their preferred venders to handle about 90% of the arrangements and for a VERY reasonable price. Everyone brought their A game!! Food was delicious, music was fantastic (even with a last minute DJ swap due to an emergency), and the grounds were stunning! They did everything right. Multiple beautiful backdrops available for the big day. We chose the grand fountain but soooo many other great options. Even the little things. Everyone warned us how hard it is to eat on your wedding day but as soon as we left the ceremony area to the backstage, there was a waiter for my wife and I along with the bridal party with appetizers and drink orders. Jennifer the day of works as your wedding coordinator and she does a fantastic job! Everything was so well run and on time as well. Everyone told me this was the best venue and the best experience they ever had at a wedding and I know it wasn't just them being nice! If you're the type of person who wants to be able to say you got married at Wrigley, fine. But if your focus is the best possible experience for your guests and yourselves, Boojum is by far the way to go!! These guys throw an EPIC wedding and party!!!

If you haven't been there, then you definitely need to pay it a visit. However, for a wedding venue, it was a bit odd. Maybe this was the fault of the coordinator? First the good things! The customer service really was great! The staff managing the bar area were super friendly and great to talk to at every visit! The food served was delicious, no complaints at all! The decor and aesthetics were wonderful for the venue and the Arizona area. The area in the main part of the venue, were the ceremony took place was lovely and shaded. There was a fountain and surrounded by lovely trees and structures. As with all venues, hosting a wedding with a cash or cash-less bar, this venue fell into the same issue. The alcohol not in bottles or cans just had to be watered down. There is no possible way our friends and myself had as many vodka mixed drinks, we are talking about over 10 or 11 at least for myself, and never even got a buzz. This seemed to be the consensus. The other issue was just the layout. The covered area / enclosed structure where the dinner took place was large and spacious. It was decorated with plants and man made areas that were lovely and it kept everyone together, socializing, and simply having fun. When that was done we were moved to an area behind the bar/sitting structure for live DJ and dance floor. This was simply counter productive to encouraging that togetherness and partying. instead it had various separate and distinct fire pits with covered areas and seating around each one. This pretty much cause the wedding party to all separate into their own clicks and neither one really interacting unless you were directly related/known to them some how. The dance floor was a raised gazebo area, which was lovely. However, from where some of the fire pits were, you had no view of who was dancing or if anyone was dancing. The DJ played a great playlist but she could have been definitely more interactive.

Well, it's been many years since I bowled last, in league play mind you. I was just shocked that…read morethe whole experience was different... pins, action and feel. Came to realize that the pins all have strings attached! Something incredibly wrong with this, but I get it. Comes down to cost of course. I don't like this at all, so I took a star away. Other than that, I still had fun, lanes were well maintained and the food was great. BUT STRINGS?

If you're looking for a bowling alley with all the bells and whistles that caters to families, this…read moreis it. It's not the hole-in-the-wall, low-key bowling alley from years past. With that in mind, it's gonna be slammed on the weekend and you'll probably have to wait for a lane. If the kiddos are in tow, they'll enjoy playing the arcade games while you wait. You can sip on one of their overpriced alcoholic lemonades or other super-charged cocktails as well. Once on a lane and after you've found bowling balls (which people here don't tend to return to the racks after their games), you'll probably be disappointed to see that you'll be playing with STRING pins. Yep, that's a bummer. Your lane will be blinking with all different colors of lights, which is great if you like that vibe but will be a distraction if you actually want to concentrate on your game. Bowling etiquette isn't really observed here, as most lanes are full of families, kids, or leisurely bowlers. So that's the vibe here. Good fit for some, but not for all.

So much has changed with the Queen Creek Olive Mill since I first reviewed it many years ago…read more Superstition Coffee cafe is no longer there. That section has been replaced with the Olive Mill's service bar. The retail shop has expanded - still the oils and vinegars that we know and love, but also other dry sundries like pasta, spices and seasonings. There's a little deli area with loaves of bread, focaccia, fresh cheese. And there's the spa merch - for soaps, balms, and the like. They still offer tours as well. The food is still outstanding. There is a lot of seating inside and out. But it does get VERY BUSY, so yes- during peak brunch hours it can be very hard to find a table. I don't go often enough, but love it every time I go.

Their pizzas are BOMB! Don't forget to grab some fresh sourdough or other types of bread they have. In addition , I would highly encourage grabbing some of their homemade soups! The outside area has live music playing sometimes and it's a great place to get together with kids since it's so open and allows you to choose sit around a bunch of people or go off into a more secluded area. Another thing we did before moving here when we visited was did the olive tour where they give you a lesson on olive and olive oil! Very interesting if you love olive oil and cooking! This gem is definitely a highlight in this area for a good kick back, with good food, good vibes, and fresh air! Bonus, they have motorcycle parking
