Fair warning: this photographer lacks experience, maturity, and overall professionalism. I would…read morestrongly advise against trusting this photographer with documenting your special moments--spend the extra money and go with a seasoned professional. I was looking forward to taking first-time grad photos to document the completion of my law school career, unfortunately, the final product fell well below reasonable expectations. The photography was decent, but the editing was very harsh. When I politely reached out to the photographer about acquiring the originals or having the editing toned down, she refused to provide any remedy. Then I kindly asked to her consider that her standard editing may not be suitable for all skin tones, mine being darker than the majority of her clients. To my surprise, she didn't bother to reply. This showed a complete disregard for her client's satisfaction with her work and only a regard for her perceived "artistic style"--something I have never encountered while working with professional photographers. Moreover, during our session, the photographer expressed her frustration regarding her other clients impatience with her turn around time... speaking about them in a condescending tone to the point that I felt uncomfortable. She made it clear that any delay was due to the client's poor time-management and not a fault of her own. It was very unprofessional for her to share such grievances during our session. While this photographer was the more affordable option, capturing such a special moment is priceless. That being considered, I've now learned my lesson and will not be sacrificing quality for the more affordable option. I truly hope this photographer will take my feedback into consideration and offer her clients alternatives if they are not satisfied with her work, rather than ignoring such requests.
