They were super professional and polished, and so much fun to work with, as well! Kellie also helped make everything on my wedding day run smoothly. Despite sending a detailed itinerary to the venue event coordinator (per their request), they didn't have it printed the day of, and had no idea when things were happening! Luckily, Kellie had a copy of her own. She and Shannon had everyone exactly where they needed to be from the 1st look, before the ceremony, to our exit! They kept it flowing, without a hitch! We streamed it all from my phone, and they ensured it was set up, and followed us out the door, to the end. I'm also disabled and needed several breaks, during the formal photos. Kellie and Shannon made sure I got the breaks I needed, while keeping the formal shoots going with the groom and his family. The candid shots were also super well timed, and came out great. Because of that, we didn't have to spend twice as long taking photos, and instead we enjoyed our reception sooner! However, two days before the shoot, I contacted her to finalize the location of where to meet. She suddenly replied indicating that she was starting to feel sick and would have to cancel. This was disappointing but the fact that she didn't contact me first to let me know and didn't tell me what days she had open to reschedule. This made me think that she either double booked or just needed extra time for packing as she was going on vacation after that weekend. I asked a couple times what days she had available and if her online calendar was up to date (which it wasn't), and I kept getting a generic answer of having a couple week days open sometime in next couple weeks. She was not helpful and I decided not to re-book as it was starting to become complicated. I guess she just wasn't interested in my business. I wouldn't recommend her due to this lack of attention and professionalism.

My husband and I wanted a photographer with a lot of wedding experience, true knowledge of…read morephotography in different lighting environments, and with a really artistic eye who could capture the romance of our event & the beauty of our setting. Also, because we knew it would be a highlight of our night, we wanted someone able to capture the outrageous vibe of our international scene on the dance floor. I'm so glad we found Collin Richie. Although he lives in Baton Rouge, he was the most responsive, prompt and available vendor to take part in our New Orleans wedding. He responds within minutes to texts, calls, and emails, and actually met with us twice in NOLA before the wedding. In our first meeting, we were instantly impressed by Collin's friendly, fun & professional nature. And, importantly, the wedding albums he showed us were fantastic - artistic, beautiful, full of color, romance, action, texture! He met with us another time just to tour our wedding venue. Since our ceremony was at night, he gave us great advice about how to light the ceremony and reception area for optimum photography. On the wedding day, Collin and his assistant (there are always 2 photographers - HUGE plus!) showed up on time with all their lighting and photography equipment. We wanted to take the formal shots before the ceremony, but the bridal party was running far behind schedule. Not a problem for Collin! He stepped up and had family and friends hustling in and out of the scene, switching places, putting shoulders in and out...etc... He orchestrated the most efficient twenty minutes of participatory action I've witnessed in years, and our wedding was able to start on time. For not being intrusive at all, they got amazing coverage during the ceremony and reception. If I saw something wonderful happening on the dance floor or in the crowd, it was so easy for me to catch Collin or Brandon's eye and direct them toward the scene (if they weren't already there.) Also, Collin sweetly reminded us that the cake hadn't been cut around 10:30pm - honestly, we were so involved on the dance floor, we might've forgotten . In sum, Collin Richie has my highest recommendation. I had a wonderful experience with him and his team, and the pictures I've seen so far have been incredible. From the very beginning, Collin was extremely professional and easy to work with. I was so…read moreimpressed with him! I had my wedding in Houston and I was having trouble finding a good photographer in town. To add another element, I was planning the wedding from Los Angeles, so I knew that I probably would not be able to meet with most of my vendors. Through different reviews, I found Collin, who also worked in Houston. I scheduled a telephone conversation with him, visited his website/blog, and was sold. He was amazing. Even though I hadn't met him in person, I felt so comfortable having him do our photography. Throughout the planning process, he was always accessible via email/phone/text, even when he was traveling internationally. A couple of weeks before the wedding, I sent him the wedding day schedule and reviewed it with him over the phone. On the day of the wedding, he had it with him and knew exactly what was going on and what needed to happen and when it needed to happen. We had more than enough time for pictures (which was my main concern). We took pictures with our wedding party before and after our ceremony and he knew exactly how to have us stand, where to look, who to involve, etc. etc. etc. Our limo even got lost on the way to one of the locations and Collin met us there right on time, parked and ready to go! He made sure we stayed on track and even managed to take individual pictures of all our little ring bearers (ages 2 - 4) and our flower girls (ages 5-6). He was great with the kids and wonderful with the adults. He made sure our parents and grandparents felt included and he did an amazing job managing the entire process of taking photos in front of the church altar with our different family members, after the ceremony - which was no easy task! He was so calm and professional throughout the entire day, which is exactly what we needed! With so much going on, I knew that I didn't have to worry one bit about the photography. We were in good hands. We just got our proofs back (6 weeks after our wedding - just like he had promised) and we LOVE them!! He really captured all the special moments throughout the day. AND - during the ceremony and reception, he and his assistant were so good at staying behind the scenes. There was never a moment where I thought that they were being disruptive or intrusive at the church or at the reception...which can often happen with photographers and videographers. After the wedding, I actually started worrying about whether they were able to get the right shots, since we didn't notice them throughout the evening. But after looking through the proofs a couple of days ago, I realize that they got EVERYTHING!! Every single moment. Collin is a true professional and I would absolutely recommend him!! It was such a pleasure working with him and the outcome was even more amazing :) Our wedding day flew by and I'm so glad we now have these beautiful pictures to remember the day!!
