I booked online and had 90 min deep tissue Thai massage with Kate. I arrived a few mins early and was greeted by a friendly guy behind the desk, directed to sit and complete a pre-massage questionnaire, and a few moments later, Kate came and took me through the hallways to find an empty room. The space is cute, but you can tell the building is older because of the creaking floors - it doesn't impact the rest, just making note. Kate looked into a couple of rooms before finding an empty one, which I found strange, as they should have some way of noting which rooms are in use vs. empty, so that's my main suggestion. Kate provided instruction on where to set my personal items, etc and return a few mins later when we were ready to get started. I agreed to allow them to step on me, which was a new experience for me. What I will say is that while Kate was physically on the smaller side, she used everything to dig out any knot she could find - hand, elbows, feet, etc. I have had a few massages over the years and this one hurt the most. I did not tell her to let up because the point of me going was to work them all out. I was left with some redness/bruising in a few areas that got extra attention, but that can be expected. Overall, it was a smooth process from booking until the end. They do offer a slight discount for cash payments, and just FYI: you cannot add tip payments when using a gift card, those must be paid separately.

I made an appointment for a deep tissue massage and was pleasantly surprised when I arrived it was the dame place as last year. I quickly pivoted and asked if I could get another 4-hand massage and it worked out. The front desk woman even remembered me once I told her about my last visit. The women are very professional and twice now have had a particularly strong one work on my back. I have a cluster of deep muscles that are the bane of my existence by my shoulder blades. A lot of massage therapists I go to will get to that area but not dig in to the level that I need for meaningful relief. These women find the knots and actually work them out one by one.
