I had 1 rose in my Mother's Day arrangement that died. I contemplated calling but eventually did, I figured my daughter spent good money on these flowers I should let them know. I spoke with Sandi who was very nice and understanding and offered to replace the entire arrangement. I certainly wasn't expecting that, it was 1 flower. With gas prices up I couldn't see them delivering a replacement arrangement but Sandi insisted stating that they guarantee the freshness of their flowers. Later that day, a fresh arrangement was delivered and the flowers look beautiful!! The customer service was top rate!! I would definitely recommend this flower shop. Exceptional customer service goes a long way and to replace an entire arrangement because of 1 flower speaks volumes. They definitely stand behind their product!! read more

I had a family member having a tough time recently and I thought I would cheer her up by sending some flowers. I started with those typical websites like 1800flowers and proflowers. But, the fees and delivery charges are almost as much as the flowers themselves. I then googled flowers shops for the Reading, PA area. I came across Royer's I liked what I saw and they charge $8.95 for delivery. My totally cost was around $40 which was my budget. I felt that was very reasonable. Their website was simple to navigate. I was able to select an option for a $29.95 arrangement of their choice. Then the $8.95 delivery charge and then taxes. I'm out of state in VA. I was unaware of the snow in PA they were having on the day of delivery I chose. I kept waiting for a message from my family member or an email confirming delivery. So around 4pm I called and they said because of weather they were doing their deliveries tomorrow. Sigh. I really wish they would have called and informed me. I'm a firm believer in communication. The flowers that were delivered were bright and beautiful. Perfect. My family member loved them, and they put a smile on their face every time they see it. I'm glad they could do that for them. I will use Royer's again for a few people I know in the Reading, PA area. read more

I ordered flowers for my wife using their online service . I usually go in store and pick up a nice arrangement myself , but I gigured maybe I'll give the online store a try and save myself a trip . That was a big mistake . I went with product #3928 "Lets Celebrate . The arrangement cost $39.99 plus taxes and delivery fee . The total came out to around $54 dollars . There is no way they should charge that much money in exchange for what you get . They sent my wife a tiny , basic looking arrangement that looked like left over scraps from other arrangements being put together . I feel that what I got delivered would actually be worth around 20 bucks at most . I put in some pictures for reference . The smaller fake assortment in the picture cost me $7 dollars just for perspective . Royers should probably give me a coupon code or a gift card in order to make things right , but , I doubt they will . To be honest , I kind of feel ripped off . I don't think I'll be ordering from their online store ever again . read more

Terrible customer service! They were supposed to be delivering flowers, the delivery person arrived, waited not even 3 minutes from me to come down from my office (mind you I work in a 5 story building) and left without me getting the delivery. Our security officer at the front desk said the guy was extremely rude, and refused to wait at all. I was told I would have to come pick them up. So now I have to drive through miles of construction during rush hour traffic all because their person could not wait 3 minutes? I did go pick them up, and it was of course a pain in the butt because of rush hour traffic and construction. People in the building were not also not putting their best foot forward when it came to customer service. To top it all off, they still charged the delivery fee! I mean absolutely absurd and a very poor business practice. read more

I received an email from Royers showing their cute little 'Bunny Mum' the other day and thought I'd send one to our son with our 4 grandsons. I knew they'd love it!!! I placed my order and had it delivered on the day we'd be visiting with them so we could bask in the accolades of "oh Nana and Pappy, what a cute flower arrangement you sent us!! Thanks so much for thinking of us!" Well that never happened, because when they first saw the bunny mum it was wilted, the ears and bow were askew and the eyes/nose was just hanging down in the front. I was crushed. How could this happen?!!? It's Royers Flowers for heaven sake!!! Well, it'll be some time before I order from them again. Sorry to say that, but the flower arrangement was unacceptable! read more

Royer's will scam you and you probably won't know it. I ordered flowers for my mom the other day. When checking out I added multiple add-on items such as 3 additional roses and a box of chocolates. When she received "something" she called me and thanked me. Curious, I asked her how the chocolates were. She confirmed they were not included. I asked her about the roses, she said there were none. I asked her to send me a pic of the flowers and they were the right ones I picked but looked terrible. They looked hours away from death. I'm not a flower expert but I've ordered many in my day and this has got to be my worst experience with a florist. If you're looking to order flowers, do you want to trust these con artists? I'm sure there's other florists in the area. Go with one of them. read more

Called Robin at Royer's from San Diego to have her do an arrangement for a friend. I always wonder how things will turn out when ordering from so far away, but as soon as the recipient received the arrangement she called to let me know how gorgeous and artistic the flowers were. The employees need more training on how to deal with customer ,specially with people the don't know much about flowers way to rude about it like if you suppose to buy the first flowers you see , super rude 0 stars for customer service At least 7 people out of 10 experience the same thing within 25 mins in the store poor poor customer service read more

I cannot say enough good things about Helen and the Reading branch of Royer's Flowers. Helen guided my son's fiance through all the arrangements we needed for her wedding day. Helen was gracious with all of our requests and she really came through for us for our son and his fiance on their wedding day. Helen came out to the wedding location and created an incredible backdrop for their big day. I stopped in tonight for a poinsettia, thought they would have a better variety of colors and sizes, unfortunately they didn't, I was being helped by a girl who obviously was a new employee , And tried her best to accommodate me. There was a woman arranging flowers who I thought was extremely rude to the sales girl that was helping me ,when she needed to lengthen the stick on a seasonal pick for my plant, the other woman got ugly to my sales girl , and the same woman came to the counter to wait on a Woman with a young girl(, I'd say about eight or 10 years old ) The woman explained to the saleswoman she needed fresh flowers for the little girl because her father just died. The woman coldly pointed them to the cooler ,( I thought she could have been kinder and walked them over to the cooler and maybe showed some arrangements to them ) and when the woman was checking out , the sales woman asked her if she wanted it wrapped, and again the woman commented that they were the little girls choice her father just died, ...( I was standing next to them, and my heart broke for the little girl ) , but no sympathy from the sales woman, no kindness NOTHING...,she took the money said have a good night and walked away ! How rude! Do you really think they're going to have a good night ?? Even if you're busy, aren't you in the business of comforting people !! I'm in no hurry to go back there again !! read more
