the machines take your money and when you ask an employee (when one is here) to help with your money back they say they can't help you. I've lost more money here in the last 2 washes and I won't be back after today. I usually don't complain about it but it's getting worse and worse. The older white haired man at this laundromat is unfriendly and groped me around Christmas. He harasses myself and my husband every time we come in and has no consideration for any of the homeless who are just trying to wash clothes like anyone else who goes in there. The other man and the woman who work there are very nice and have excellent people skills and work ethics. I'm sorry to say that the one bad apple has ruined it for my family and friends but he makes us all very uncomfortable from the time we walk up to the establishment. If it weren't for him we would all continue to go here. The prices are good and the machines work pretty well. read more

I absolutely LOVE this laundromat, or as my great-grandmother use to call these places - a washateria. Very clean, tidy, and so many fellow customers were friendly and helpful with advice. What a surprise to have a worker there who was friendly and assisted me in figuring out how to work out a small error with a door. I will keep coming here to wash my enormous comforters. The signs clearly state no pets. Yet someone has a Chihuahua here. Obviously not a service pet as they usually have things on the pet about it being a service pet and strangers are told not to pet the said service pet. Claiming it's a service pet. This is just not a place I would recommend. It's supposed to be a clean facility. read more

It's actually quit clean and seemed to be well equipped. The only complaint was there was noone on location to help with the two malfunction I encountered with two separate machines. In all they robbed me of a dollar so it's not the end of the world but at least have a working phone to call with complaints and customer service please. read more

I have used Roy's for about 5 years and watched the changes in service go from one extreme to another. At this time I was on Friday/Saturday and I watched the gentleman employee as he assisted customers. He noticed if a customer needed a basket taken to the car to load laundry and pushed carts in if assistance was needed all while constantly picking up after people! He has a great attitude and speaks to all customers creating great relationships. I don't know where you found this one, but he is amazing! Pay him well so he stays and have him teach others how to represent your business because he is killing it! read more

Overall, I like this place. Get along great with the staff, love having the 24hr option, (early mornings you don't have To share anything or wait), and you have so much space to fold/organize clothes. I love being able to go in and knock out five loads within a couple hours, and then kids & I don't have to worry about it rest the of the week at all! BUT** (there's always a but right?) Which means, forget what I just said now here's how I really feel..... NEVER GO UP THERE @ ANYTIME ALONE, always- know your surroundings, MOST IMPORTANTLY** ALWAYS CHECK THE BACKSEAT OF YOUR VEHICLE, BEFORE YOU ENTER SAID VEHICLE... Roy's on N main in Weatherford used to be a nice place. Now it is awful. There is trash all over the floor have the bigger washing machines have blue tape on them and don't work. Tonight when I went in to do my laundry the quarter machine was not working and I spent 45 minutes running around town trying to find quarters to no avail. I finally did get some quarters from a car wash. One of the washers I had my clothes in didn't spin them all the way so they were soaked and with the quarter situation I couldn't re wash them. To make the night so much better (NOT) the night time cleaning people came in. Neither one of them were wearing any shoes then they began yelling at one another through the place. This place is a dump!!! Oh and if you try and call them the number is out of service. read more

We just relocated to mineral wells and we're in need of laundry services until our machines are delivered. I was a bit skeptical about coming here from the reviews left- but was very pleasantly surprised when I walked in! It is the middle of the week and before noon- so it's not crowded at all. There are 3 different sized washer- 25lb 40lb and 75 lb (4 machines) and plenty of dryers. The facility is very clean and updated- nice big folding tables, some benches to relax, and tv if you're bored! There are security cameras all over, and they're projected onto tv screens in the facility- so I felt very safe. When I have the need in the future I will definitely return. read more

I am sitting in my car waiting for my first load to be done. First time at Roy's. Putting money in one of the large machines and the machine started eating my money and not registering it. I went to the gentleman and asked for my money back he said he cannot give me my money back and I will probably never see it again. He said the machine was full and that's that. I asked to managed or owned this laundromat and he stated he could not and would not tell me pulled all my laundry out except the load that has already started waiting for it to be done washing and I will go elsewhere. read more

i would give this business 0 stars if i could!! Today I experienced poor customer service at Roy's Laundromat in Weatherford. A patron had occupied all of the commercial washers (9 to 12) with white bedding. I'm assuming she runs a local business, maybe a bed & breakfast. I spoke up and expressed how inconsiderate it was not to at least leave a few open for other patrons to use. The staff lady proceeded to tell me that's too bad. I'm guessing she was a manager there since she was cleaning. Upon reading local reviews, I have found that this happens frequently at this establishment. I will NEVER use this facility again and I hope others won't either! read more

Here we go again, go to do my laundry at my regular schedule time. The place opened, but didn't unlock the doors (rely on electronics). The lady they hired to clean didn't have a key to open the doors and the phone number to corporate was in the office inside. So now I have to find a place after work which throws my whole day off. read more

I have been going in there for close to 4 years and it was ok the first couple of years. Last year I started running into problems with washer # 26, it kept getting stuck saying something about the door. There was nothing wrong with the door, I had to cancel my wash, lose my money and put it in another washer. I have complained 3 times and had never gotten a response back or my money. The washer continues to stay in service which I refuse to use. Again it took my money but on a different machine, it got stuck on the rinse cycle and wouldn't move. This is 4 times that I have lost $2.75 a machine and every time I complain when I can find someone, I never receive my money and they just fix the machine. By the time I get done putting money in their machines, I could've bought one. read more

Beware! Machines don't all work, will take your money or stay locked in machine with no attendant to help. None of the broke machines are marked with notice. This happens with various machines and I'm done with this location. If I could truly rate this place, it would be 0 stars. read more

I have been here at least 3 times and until I can a washer and dryer will continue to come. The facility is always clean. The attendants are always keeping the machines, countertops and floors cleaned too. Both attendants are always very nice and helpful. Very seldom are the machines down but there are plenty to choose from so a few out of commission is not a big deal. The change machine accepts up to $20 bills so it's convenient. There's a soap dispenser if you need supplies. There are washers that can handle up to 75 pounds of laundry at one time. Prices are reasonable I guess - $4.50 for the 40 pound loads, $8 for the 75 pounder. I stick $2.50 into the dryers and it'll dry about 2 loads at a time. There are folding tables and carts on wheels with drying bars. read more

This place is NASTY!!! Dead and alive spiders and bugs everywhere. The machines where dirty and when you walk in it stunk. The machines didn't count the quarters correctly so you end up paying more. Not worth it!!! Take 15 to 30 minutes more and drive to the next closest laundry mat. read more

I am currently here and extremely irritated!!! November 28, 2016 Using washers 46 45 44 43 50 and 51.... washer 45 took 7 dollars from me and the old lady assistant wanted to argue with me that they work just fine , she tried putting quarters in didn't count, tells me to move my clothes, moved my clothes then washer 51 started stealing my quarters then the old lady assistant started argueing and getting rude with me about how she's not going to give me all my quarters back... that they are hers, I asked yours or the people that own this place she said them and I said well they owe me my quarters I gave you 75 cents back the other quarter was mine and I'm not giving you any more... ummm you owe me quarters the ones I want back the machine stole... well I don't know either she responds I just got here , the owners are building another one and neglecting this one... you never know which ones are Gunna work and which ones don't... now I'm stuck here cause the washers have my money and my clothes!!!! What a hassle! It's a perfect scam though ... cause she made 3.50 off of me by not giving me back the other half of the 7 dollars machine 45 took! And then when she came back with only 3.50 she slammed it down on the machine and said here's your money back!! I said well I put in 7 dollars so far that's why I asked you how much it was... well it works... dude I'm so irritated!!! Make up your own mind if you wanna gamble on getting scammed!!! Honestly, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. We had to deal with the most ugly, rude "manager" that this place employs. What is equally as bad is that when we called about this woman, we did not received a call back. My 5 year old son, accidentally spilled his drink which made about a 12in X 12in ( if that) mess. Mind you, it was an accident! I walked up the this so called "manager" named Karen and politely asked her if she had some towels or something that I could clean it up with. She rudely told me that she would clean it and we needed to move. In her words, " just go over there, go over there!" As she flapped her arms in a very rude obnoxious way. I proceeded to profusely apologize for our mess and moved as she commanded. As we were shooed away from the dryers that we were using to be banished to the other side of the facility, she made a huge production about the mess and decided to clean a whole section where others were trying to do their laundry. Remember it was no more than a 12in X 12in mess. Not rocket science. The place had a lot of traffic. She was constantly rude to other customers and did not care about anyone but herself. I brushed off her rudeness because we had made the mess. I have worked customer service, so I know what and how you should treat a customer. I let it go. As we waited on the other side my husband joins us. So we meet him in the middle of the laundry mat. My son is holding his drink. My husband says he goes to hug him and the drink spills again :( complete accident again. I felt so bad, I definitely didn't want to tell this "manager" Karen because she was already SO EXTREMELY rude! I quickly told my husband that we already spilt it once and that I was scared to tell her. He said he didn't care and that we can clean it up. He goes to fine some towels and she sees that we spilt it and proceeds to say, " ARE YOU kIDDING ME! YOU JUST SPILT IT AGAIN" now everyone in the facility can hear her. My husband being protective of our son and myself, comes to our defense and matches her tone. "You do not need to get all pissy, He is a kid, accidents happen. She proceeds to tell us that we dont have control of the situation. Last time I check, no "manager" or employee should ever act this way to a PAYING customer. More words were said. She comes over puts the mop on the spill and throws it down. I suggest this women be fired because she does NOT need to work with people. She made my son feel bad and was extremely rude. By the end of us being there, with her HUGE production on cleaning it up and she repeatedly puts the mop bucket in our way as we try to get our clothes out of the drys, not only blocking us but blocking other CUSTOMERS as well. By the time we leave I was extremely mad and tired of her stupidity and ugliness. I suggest no one go to this location until Karen is gone because she will make your experience there miserable!! Definitely dont bring kids with you bc she is rude to them as well and makes them feel bad. We are still waiting on a phone call from the owner. I'll update if they even care about their customers.
