Mr. Electric was the first one to respond, and I liked their quote so much that I almost canceled the appointments with the other companies. Sure enough, Mr. Electric offered the best quote out of the four. I received a grant for $5,000 to fix the power in my 110-year-old home. I always felt my house was not wired safely, and after my dishwasher started smoking and the fires in California, my anxiety doubled. Mr. Electric's quote was originally a little over $9,000, while the other three were between $11,000 to $13,000 and did not offer any assistance. The quotes happened after Christmas, and I felt this was my Christmas miracle because I thought it wouldn't be possible with the amount of money I had available. I decided to go with a jet tub since I knew I would use it. I'm so glad I did! Not only are the jets a great massage, it heats the water as it passes through the pump. I could stay in there for hours if I wanted to. The downside is I can't use bath bombs anymore, but I just light a smelly candle and use lotion on my skin after. I use it a lot when my muscles are sore from the gym or working on the yard. Great investment and the entire thing (tub replacement, walls, glass doors, etc) was all done in one day. Instead they had a concrete truck drive along side of the back of my house, damaging the fence and lawn. Still not completely fixed and they place the blame on the driver. Many cracks instantly after installation. They fixed a few, promised to come back after winter to fix the remaining cracks.
