They come to work 2-3 horas a day and 2-3 days per week. The house is full of dust all over. Been cleaning a lot to diminished the dust but since they don't finish with demolition we can not do anything. Been calling and asking them when and they always come with the same excuses. They don't even put inconsideration that my husband is a bed bound patient. Is been a nightmare with this project. We started with the bathroom are and they have not been able to finish that are and they have other areas to work. I guess this will take a month of Sundays to finish this project. The owner, Doug, came out to estimate the project and I appreciated his directness with options and costs on repair vs replace based on solid experience. His guys were there when promised, were polite and worked diligently until the fix was complete. They were fabulous about cleaning up their mess at the end of each day and protecting nearby furnishings. They also caulked my cabinets and replaced the wood floor under my sink. Their prices were significantly less than other estimates, everyone was experienced in their tasks so that the work was efficiently completed. They sub'd out the stucco work and it was a perfect match! I'd highly recommend them and will hope to have them back for bathroom upgrades in the near future.

I have photos and videos of Ray and employees working on our home. Insurance co paid him thousands of dollars and we got screwed over! We ended up having to take a loan out and pay another contractor to do what Ray Mayfield was paid to do! We were living with no ceiling, walls, floors or kitchen and this guy has the balls to tell me he has no money to fix our house cause he used it on another clients home yes he said that! We were living in crap while this guy who had no money to cause spent it elsewhere was taking vacations to the Carolina's to visit his grown kids and enjoying him self not giving a damn he was screwing people over! Again don't let the nice guy image fool you! I have pictures, video's and text to this day to back up everything I have said. We chose R&L Handyman, Inc to do the total renovation to our home. They put in new windows, new flooring through out they renovated both bathrooms and installed a beautiful new kitchen cabinets and had granite counter tops installed , they installed a beautiful tile backsplash. They added counter space and the finished product was like the pictures you see in modern home magazines. They installed window framing on all the windows, new baseboards thru out the home. They installed new planked flooring thru out and installed all new light fixtures and ceiling fans. Also new front door and a rear door with glass panels. They installed lighting under the kitchen cabinet's, they totally painted the entire interior on home and also remodeled the laundry room. The textured all the drywall and ceiling thru out the home. The upgraded the insulation in the attic and repaired some AC ducts. The converted a hall closet that was off the kitchen and made it into a walk in pantry. In fact, I had reached out to 6-7 contractors and R&L was the first to respond as well as the only contractor to follow through on a promised quote. He quoted every repair we discussed during his initial walkthrough and I received a quote that day via email. We chose to start with the ceiling repair, the back porch repair and rescreen, and painting the exterior of the house. The communication throughout the entire process was spot-on through text and calls, I tried to be respectful of their 'off-hours' and they were respectful of my 'work-hours'. I never felt that I had to micromanage the work because I was always notified if something came up that was unexpected. They even offered to leave their dump trailer at the house over the weekend so we could clean up some of the clutter that had accumulated over the years in the back yard (such a blessing). They were thoughtful and considerate, fairly priced, and efficient. I was so pleased with their work at my parents house that we also contracted them to paint my sister's house! Bracing Blue was chosen for the exterior block. We recently learned that Sherwin-Williams had NO RECORD of Elite Painting & Pressure Washing having purchased any paint. They only purchased miscellaneous items. The store is 2 miles from our home. The secondary door paint label was torn off. It displayed another company's phone number and not a Sherwin-Williams label, which is now disconnected. I left a message for the Elite painters regarding the issue, but they failed to return my call for assistance. CAUTION: DO NOT USE ELITE PAINTERS. They failed to use the contracted paint company, and a color match is impossible for touch-ups. So truly upset and disappointed. Also, paint can labels were removed. If you use these folks, buy your own paint! They dropped the ball in favor of padding their pockets and were less than truthful.
