I had an appointment to pick up a trailer and an appliance dolly scheduled for 3 PM. By 345 when no one answered the door or accepted a phone call after several messages were left, I had to call UH. The person on the phone quickly redirected me to another area venture however, I did have to drive a considerable distance for pick up. This reservation was made days in advance. Later in the day I received a call from this U-Haul establishment stating they were at lunch. I did explain that I had an appointment and they could've called if they were not gonna be available. This place is terrible when it comes to dealing with your money and I'm not talking about the two girls and the guy that work in the office right there on 24 it's not them they all work with me tried to help me out of a predicament that I got myself into before the new management company took over they are a joke I paid my bill which is outrageous anyway since they took over and every time I pay the bill within two or three days I'm getting phone calls texts and emails telling me that my bill was late and so when I go into the office because calling them it's nothing accomplished so I go in there and it's always one more thing that's been added to the bill but they want me to pay from shit from before they even owned it but we got straightened out back in the beginning of January when I caught all of my bill up I was only a month behind but I made sure I paid everything up everything should have been well taken care of but every month since then I've had nothing but problems now I got to go up there and deal with them again because I've been getting phone calls for the last 2 weeks again really I'm sorry really about it so my phone is for management company can't do their job right but they want to charge you these outrageous prices for shit that they never did anyway they did it with mine charge me $100 to $50 installments for our papers and whatever else they decide it was a part of that 15 hours each and they never even did anything they never put the paperwork through or anything else even the manager lady that I talk to that day is the one who found it and took care of it for me or thought she took care of it for me so they're charging you for things that they've never done and you're supposed to just agree with it or lose your stuff . And now that they've Jack the bill up so high in order for me to get out of there and I will as soon as I can but fighting disability for 20 years and not getting that good is a whole another ball game it's just starting what they can get away with and the federal government it's ridiculous anyway sorry got a little bit of track but yeah if you're not already here don't come they're terrible anyway make it sound good but it's not them girls and the one gentleman that I dealt with we're very decent people they helped me as much as they possibly could it's not them it's the company that they work for the management company as soon as I can find that name I want to go and give them the worst review I've ever given they're terrible and the people I talk to that rent there have said they have had similar problems and others I just don't understand the disrespect and the ignorance that a company can put out there knowing they have your stuff and can do whatever they want to pretty much unless enough of us get together and deal with it I'm game if anybody's got an idea that's legal and will help affect some change I'm open to just about anything like I said as long as it's legal . Sorry this was so long everybody if anybody reads it thank you for your time and watch yourself with this management company I won't even go into the fact of how my bin mysteriously got open then relock with the door pulled down but you couldn't latch it because the Locke was holding the latch open imagine that and I know for a fact I locked my bin before I left with all the stuff out there now it's not hard to get into a padlock even a good one like I had . I just want you to know that the man working at the John J. Williams Hwy UHaul location in Millsboro, DE on 2/20/21 is very rude and this Uhaul location will never get my business again and I'm telling everyone I know and leaving poor reviews anywhere I can. He also cheated me out of money when I moved here and Uhaul never refunded it. I called today and was merely asking questions and asking him to explain towing a vehicle to me and he was extremely rude. If there was a choice of less than 1 star I would pick that. Great place to keep your stuff while your new home is being built if you are moving to southeastern Delaware. We rented a 10x10 and a 5x10 conditioned lockers to keep our stuff until we could take possession of our new home. Facility is very clean and well managed. Reasonable cost and very secure. read more
