It layered rice with the sauce of our choice, meat cut from the spit, and a medley of veggies. We also got the turkish pizza which is actually just a HUGE wrap. Same thing- meat layered with sauce and veggies. All was tasty. The wrap could easily feed two people. They also had a bathroom which was free to us even though there was a sign that it was 1 euro. So, in terms of being in Europe, we got out of the cold and rain, got a decent meal, and got to go to the bathroom for free. There's not much to complain about there.

There is high rise tables on the inside though, so no worries. The guys who have taken our orders spoke really good English so don't worry. I do recommend the chili con carne, you get a lot of meat, I've had the chorizo before and maybe had four little sausage pieces in it, not worth the extra money. If you get spicy, it's not too bad. There aren't too many restaurants in the area to begin with, since Eschenbach is pretty small. As an American staying at a nearby hotel, they saved me many times because they are open late & everyday...and their food is cheap & portion plentiful! (At least for me) I do like their seasoning of meat & condiments, better than one place I went in Grafenwöhr & another in Bayreuth (though I knew the one in Bayreuth wasn't the best one when I went). Like someone else said, it can get a bit saucey, so be careful if you have to eat in your car.

I dont know who orders those, as far as I know they are not usually eaten in Spain, at least I had not try them before that night in Nuremberg. They were not good at all, such a weird taste and it was like eating fat plus fat but not the tasty fat. Avoid to spend money on that. For the rest, very cute decor (bullfighters and dancers, very 'fake typical Spanish' in a very festive environment where you can see locals enjoying the wine and tapas like if there the real deal.

Crisp waffle exterior, sour cherry compote, powdered sugar and whipped cream. Delicious, simply delicious. I generally don't finish high carb meals, but this was an exception. Buffet because it was so late was not as good as we had hoped. That being said, SO was able to get scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and a few other items. Coffee came in a bowl with 2 side handles. Staff were very attentive, parking not an issue (since we had no car), a lovely decorated interior. Restroom was clean. Just what was needed to quell breakfast hunger. Definitely would go back.
