I live in Linden and was very lucky to have found this practice. It is only 11 minutes drive for me and the location is very convenient. Dr. Jesse Clayton is my OB GYN since I started my pregnancy in February. He is very personable and has very good bedside manners. I am considered high risk because of my age and a first time mom so the recommendation to also go to NJ Perinatal has been very good for my situation. I am on the last weeks of my pregnancy and excited to welcome our new bundle of joy. Rubino Clark's nurses are friendly and polite. I recommend this practice for first time moms if you live close to the area. It helps a lot for you to find a clinic that is less than 15 mins away from you for regular visits and any emergencies. read more

This office is absolutely terrible. staff is not helpful or friendly at all. The doctor I have been seeing is Jesse Clayton. They do not care about their patients especially pregnant patients that are in pain from water weight and swelling and vomiting. Having to work 6 days a week 8 hours on my feet as a cake decorator having to lift max 45 pounds without any help, reaching over shelves to get boxes, pulling racks in and out of freezers bumping into things constantly bumping into my stomach, pulling heavy U boats having to stretch over to do my work it has become to Painful and the doctors here and staff do not care about how you feel Especially in the last trimester. I'm 34 weeks now and I was told I have to work up till my due date. If I would've known this, I would've gotten a new doctor it's to late for that now. Do not go to them, especially if you already have hard pregnancies if you're not able to get out of work, they don't sign you out. I think it's just awful, especially with women who are on their feet all day if I could work up to the end, I 100% would but I am in so much pain and I have been explaining it to the office. I am Starting to get overwhelmed and frustrated they do not care at all. This is my first pregnancy and the experience has been absolutely awful and I will not be going back for my second. It just upsets me with the lack of care they have and I can't be the only one that's complaining about it, this is also my very first time ever writing a review, that's how bad in pain from The swelling and Ive never have been so upset with a doctors office. And now I have no choice but to let them deliver my baby and now I'm even more terrified for that since they don't care about me how are they gonna care about my baby. I went in on Friday. Dr. Clayton is not my regular doctor but since he is in the practice and was available, I scheduled an appointment with him. I thought I had a yeast infection. He told me I did not present with a yeast infection, but it was possible he recommended Monistat. He said he would send in a prescription, but he never did. now it is Monday and it turns out surprise, I do have a yeast infection the prescription he was supposed to send in on Friday he sent in today, after I called the office to tell them that yes I do have an infection and need a treatment so while I could've been having treatment Friday, Saturday and Sunday, I will only start getting treated today. This is all in addition to my appointment being scheduled for 345 and not seeing him until 5 o'clock, and him walking in with blood all over his scrubs. In addition, he told me I needed to stop scratching immediately. I felt my concerns were dismissed as well as my symptoms. Not calling in my prescription is inexcusable. I would rather suffer until my regular doctor is available than see Dr. Clayton. I would never see him again. read more

This review is for Dr. Jesse Clayton specifically. I would give this guy zero stars if I could. I went in for a bartholin gland issue which Ive dealt with a few times before coming to Rubino OBGYN practice (I moved recently so was new to this practice) At first meeting, Dr. Clayton gave me a funny look. I ignored it, proceeded to tell him the problem. Told him my history with bartholin gland issues and he dismissed everything I said. He basically argued with me when I asked him about any possible treatment, even though I had dealt with this same issue at another practice where they prescribed antibiotics and the problem was resolved. He proceeded to tell me that my prior practice should have never prescribed me antibiotics because it would never work in resolving an infection "down there." He told me draining it would only put me in agony and pain, that it would not be worth it. Same response to me asking questions about surgical procedures for reoccurring infections. He said there is nothing he can do and he was "turning me away." He told me to do "sitz baths" and take tylenol for the pain. Nothing about a follow up or give the office a call if it doesn't get better, absolutely nothing. I left the appointment pretty confused and irritated. It's been over two weeks and I have fully processed what's happened. I am furious because now the gland is infected and I am in extreme pain. I cannot express how dangerous and scary this doctor is. Dismissing a patient's concerns then outright refusing treatment is irresponsible at its core. He should not be practicing medicine, let alone at a WOMEN'S HEALTH PRACTICE!!!! I am a patient of Dr KESSEL for many years, and I wanted my daughter to see him as well. As much as I appreciate Dr Kessel's bedside manners and professionalism, I would not recommend his front staff to my enemies. They are pushing the business away. They have the "15 minute rule" that they conveniently not relaying in their texts alerts or when patient makes an appointment. She drove over an hour to see him, got stuck in a huge traffic near Clark and was 7 MINUTES late. They turned her away. read more
