I just really dislike when the stylist does two people at a time. Her customer services was a little lack, she had zero cheer but she was ok and quiet. She did leave a stain on my forehead so now I gotta deal with that. I guess that's what I get for $45: all one color, blow dry, wash, treatment and style. When I say this is the worst haircut I have EVER received, I am totally serious. That woman BUTCHERED my hair. The cut is so uneven, I have trouble getting the sections in the curling iron together. Also, she dyed my roots and stained my face because she used no Vaseline or other protection for my skin. So today I went to this lil hole in the wall haircut/salon and my little boy got his haircut with josselyn and I got my haircut with viri, hands downn the best hairstylist around !!! I was observing the other ladies and saw that they were messing people's hair up, and the owner sHe is rude! I went in with my son and they have a list on the counter, where I wrote my son's name. When we arrived we were the only ones waiting. However, they don't call their clients by the list. Two customers walked in after us and they tried to call them first, However, I told the lady that we have been waiting and she became upset and started talking in spanish with her customer about my pants. I thought that was very unprofessional as I was wearing jeans and my pants fit well, as I wear a size 7. The lady appeared to have rolled out of bed and not comb her hair or brush her teeth. I usually take my daughter to get her haircut and I give it that they do a good job for the price of $7. As far as customer service its not great. Even though I speak Spanish my self they don't try to conversate with me. They tend to pay more attention to each other and have conversations to themselves only. If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. I stopped by this afternoon, with my 4 year old daughter to get her first haircut- she was thrilled! When we got there, I asked if there was a sign in sheet, they said no, have a seat, we'll be right with you. Then after about 15 minutes, other customers started coming in, and the ladies working there apparently knew them, because when they were done with the person they were working on, they skipped my daughter, and went to the people that had arrived after us. When I asked why they were skipping us, the lady tells me, 'oh, you still want us to cut her hair?' At that point I thanked them for their bad customer service and told them I would go else where. My child was heartbroken, as she stood by the register, in plain view, being ignored because she was getting a simple hair cut, and not a dye job or fancy doo. My mom went to this place to get her roots touched up, she informed the "stylist/hair color expert"of this shack Alma she wanted a light brown almost blond to match what she has now. Apparently this individual doesn't know the difference in her colors, she colored my moms roots in a very dark brown color. During the hair coloring process my mom told her the hair color was too dark this individual told her that her hair is wet and once it dried, the hair color will be lighter. Needless to say my mom will not be returning to this crappy establishment! Even though my mom speaks her language this woman did not understand what my mother wanted. My mom was sold on what this "stylist" promised and this person did not provide. We do not recommend this place at all! After being a loyal customer for a few years I was in for a rude awakening. One evening I arrived at about 7:40 P.M. which is 20 minutes before they close. I walked in to find my usual hair stylist Gloria counting money at the register and one other hair stylist sitting in one of the barber chairs reading a magazine. She then looked up at me and said, "I'm sorry but we're closed." I replied, Why is your neon 'open' sign still on and your door is still open? "I'm sorry you'll have to come back tomorrow" she tells me. But my haircut is simple and quick I say. "I've already counted the cash in the register, you'll have to come back tomorrow" she says. I say, What's $10 more added to the day's final total? She says, I'm sorry you'll have to come back tomorrow. I was astonished by now. I always paid her $10 even though they charge $7 for a men's haircut. That's a 43 percent tip! So I told her, it seems like you're sending me to another barber and she just shrugged her shoulders.
