Coffee was good and strong and well made. Benny was served on a giant hashbrown wedge which was really interesting. However, the entire thing sat heavy in my belly like a brick the entire day. Husband enjoyed his mince on toast. The serving was quite generous and he all but licked his plate clean. I'm not sure if I'd go back as there are a plethora of cool breakfast joints to try in/around Wellington, but it certainly wasn't a bad experience. Food is served around the clock starting with pastries and pancakes in the morning and moving to burgers and nachos later in the day. What's awesome about Midnight Espresso is that they are open late. Way late. 7:30 am weekdays and 8:00 on weekends, closing at 1:00 am. There's music, there's a fun vibe, there's some history.
