I hobbled in on crutches and immediately the staff provided a wheelchair and wi fi tablet in order to make my checkin more comfortable. Once called, the Dr assistant was a bit less than enthusiastic as she watched me struggle with the wheelchair navigating through doorways. Thanks for the help! NOT. Other than that, the DR and x-ray tech were thoughtful and thorough alleviating my worries over my ankle. To finish off the visit, Char,from the front desk really spoiled me by pushing me all the way to my car and returning the wheelchair! I think I just found my foot DR of the future. Dr. Ryan Shakely met me promptly and Jill in the front office is delightful. The first appointment was long, but it should be! I found another provider in town and after 10 min I had an adjustment and was on my way. However, how did they know whats wrong? Dr. Shakley did a thorough examination that included X-rays. Lots of questions, health history, old injuries, sports I play and how I try and find relief when things get out of whack. Then I had a full adjustment which i guess isn't typical for his practice. Most often it would be the first exam and then you come back. I felt very comfortable in his care. He has a gentle hand and talks you through what he is doing and how you need to breath. I would highly recommend Dr. Shakley.

She trusts them and they also replaced my fathers knee which has helped him so much. You could not be in better hands if you see Dr. Bands and Dr. Frank. They give you their honest opinion which is what I look for. I don't need frills or fluff but someone who understands what is going on with me and the best way to fix the problem. Also behind my favorite physical therapist, chiropractor and massage therapist, Chiro 1st. The office is nice and modern, well appointed and decorated. The waiting area is a private room away from the front door, which is a nice touch. I waited an entire two minutes before being seen by the doctor. He's very upbeat, patient and thoughtful. Also has a sense of humor which is important to me. His staff is also very friendly but all business too. You can pay you copay online the day before your appointment and it's very easy. That is cool. Lots of paper work and it was just easier to print out and use a device called a "pen" to write by hand the answers to the questions they asked. You can also answer some online but he will refer to what you write on your first visit. So that is a good time to convey what you want him to know. You may not remember everything when consulting with him. I hope I don't have to see a lot of this doctor in the future but if you're in the market for a general surgeon, this is worth checking out. I was taken to x-ray immediately, the tech was awesome, the x-ray process fantastic. I was then sat in a teeny tiny room and told to wait for the orthopedic medical professional to come and examine my Injury and review the x-rays with me. I waited in that teeny tiny room for over 50 minutes. I exited the room, found a person, and told the person I have been waiting in that tiny room for over 50, not 15 but FIVE ZERO minutes. They asked what room and what orthopedic medical professional, when I let them know, I was told that the orthopedic medical professional is in the room next to yours, you're next, please go back and wait. NO!! I will not wait In the teeny tiny room for another minute. If I can respect YOUR schedule, YOU respect MY schedule.
