I called at exactly 9A, when they opened to let them know I went online and rescheduled my appointment for two days later with the same therapist and I needed to cancel the appointment for 7-8P that night, since I can't do that online. My child's holiday event got pushed back a night due to a rain delay. It's 'policy', but they totally get to exercise that policy at their discretion. In addition, I informed them over 30 days ago (requirement) that I wanted to discontinue my membership. I was told the membership manager wasn't in the office and would need to call me later. I got a voicemail that they'd received my request. Today, I get another monthly membership charge. I call, and I'm told the membership manager isn't in the office, they'll have to call me later, again. As of now, I've cancelled both the appointment tonight, the rescheduled appointment on Friday, Dec 24, and my membership. All I wanted was to reschedule my 60 minute membership credit for a 90 minute service (which makes them more money), but it looks like I'm losing my $69 membership credit (it went up since my last review) as a 'fee'. IMHO, given the subpar service levels at this location, especially in dealing with these two issues, I would look for an independent, local therapist or spa. There's no rooms for couple's massages, and booking two separate massages at the same time for two different people using their online system is. . .not something it wants to let you do. My trick is to book one massage with another directly after it--both times I've done this, I've been called and asked if that was intentional. Once I explained, they had no problem arranging for me and my partner to both get massaged. 3. When you arrive, there's no receptionist, no front desk--there's chairs and magazines, so you KNOW it's the waiting area, but it can feel awkward waiting and being unsure if anyone knows you've arrived for an appointment. Fear not; It seems these folks are punctual and aware of when a client should be there, so they'll pop out of the room they massage in and get you--don't be weird like me and wander around, making the fact you have social anxiety super obvious, awkward, and everyone else's problem in addition to your own; Sit down and open a magazine and read about Reiki. I've had massages at many different places: red door (before they closed at which I've had best and worst), a chiropractor masseur, massage envy (only dug into my shoulder blades lots of pain there). I prefer a little more pressure myself, but I don't like to be in pain. I like the tension release I get here.
