Amanda did my Brazilian blowout and ruined my hair. I spoke to the company that licensed her for Brazilian blowout and they said given the description and the look of my hair that she likely used too much product and heat. This was thier assumption and I can't say what went wrong personally but I can verify that she told me she was going to go heavier with product on crown and sides, and do more passes with the iron, which is exactly where the worst damage is. I have photos from the day before and photos after wash. I used the Brazilian blowout brand shampoo and conditioner as recommended. Her reaction was defensive and rude and she refused to look at my hair or see what could be done. I think that's very telling because if you don't think you did anything wrong, you would at least want to look at it. read more

I went in to get a full highlight and showed her the middle picture attached, she never said that she couldn't do it. My hair was already mostly blonde, after 3 hours I left very disappointed with picture on the left and after texting her I went in to have it toned and supposed fixed it and ended up with this brown green-mess on the right. I spend almost $200 for what? I could've ruined my hair at home. Don't go here! read more

I followed Jenny V there from other places after starting with her at Avenue Five. I have followed her around since she's done such a great job with whatever I have wanted. Her prices are super reasonable and she's great at coloring and cuts and the like. She's super friendly and very accommodating. I have no plans on looking or trying another stylist/colorist. She's worth the drive to Georgetown from Austin. I know she does make up too and spray tanning. read more

I saw Shana Vochoska McMillan here for my haircolor and blow outs. She was very kind at first and would even say "Love you." I ended up filing for divorce and and around that time she told me she couldn't work with me anymore and gave me some other stylists information. She actually decided to get involved with my divorce and submitted a picture of me from social media to my soon to be ex. I know this because she actually showed me the exact picture and questioned me about it. Then it somehow it ended up in my divorce case. The man I am divorcing is VERY abusive to me and I am shocked that she would get involved and put my son and I in danger. I am a single mom of a 4 year old boy. She seemed like a totally normal person and then turned on me and got involved with my divorce. I am shocked and deeply concerned and I would hope that she wouldn't do this to someone else. It's completely unprofessional. It's also scary that another woman would support an abusive man and just turn on clients. I even confided in her and told her that he was very controlling. It's sad to think that there are people in the world like this. I really hope that she doesn't do this to someone else. read more

Have been going to Jill at Rumors for more than a year now. The absolute BEST haircut I have ever gotten, anywhere: New York, Florida, Texas. When I can let my hair air dry and then brush it through and look like I just came out of a salon, then I know I can't do better. Recommend highly. read more

I always go to Jenny for my hair and I absolutely love her! She listens to what you want, gives suggestions, and gives a great hair cut! I trust her for all my hair needs and my hair extensions. She also did my bridal and bridesmaids hair dos and they all turned out beautifully. We all had a unique updo that stayed up in the August heat! The salon itself is pretty on the inside but I wouldn't suggest going to see Sherri. One of us wanted "natural blonde highlights" and ended up with platinum blonde chunks. The other one of us wanted a perm, with not super tight curls, and it ended up being just a wave. Total waste of $250. She should also keep her love life and political interests to herself. read more
