first off let me start off by saying the service sucks here. I felt like they discriminate against African American shoppers. We went here at around 1:30pm and we were looking around for a dress for my mother for my wedding. My sister walked around the store trying to locate a worker who could help us. One lady walked pasted us about 3 times and didn't offer any help despite hearing us say "where are the workers, why can't we find someone." So, then another woman and her child were walking around (of another race) and she asked them can she help them. I went up to her and asked her can she help us find something for my mom and she motioned for a guy to come over and told him to help us, which he wasn't any help either. Then, we were looking at some dresses by the door and the gentleman who they have stationed there, kept walking back and forth. I noticed he kept peeking around the clothes. I went up to him and said, "Don't worry, you don't have to keep watching us, we aren't going to run out the store with a dress." He looked at me and said I'm sorry, I'm just doing my job, they told me to keep walking back and forth to keep an eye on things over here. I said Ok, but like I said we aren't going to walk out the store and not pay for anything. Any who, my mom found a dress and it was time to go try on the dress in the fitting room. One worker told us to go into the room which was fine, then she and another worker proceeded to stand right there by the door. I looked at her and said you can move, you don't need to stand here, we know how to try on clothes. she moved away and stood somewhere else as I stared her down. The clothes are beautiful, but I will definitely not return to spend any money here as I feel they are discriminating against African American people, and that is very sad. read more

The dresses here are beautiful but the customer service is absolutely horrible. I asked a man who was supposedly the manger to get me a dress and before he took it off the rack he kept asking me if I knew he price and kept telling me the price over and over again as if I couldn't afford to be there. I was completely offended. They don't know what I have in my bank account and shouldn't assume I needed to know the price. When my friends and I walked in and started looking at the dresses, this lady glared at us and said, "If you aren't gonna buy anything then don't try on any dresses because that's a waste of my time and I have a business to run." Well apparently this lady knows nothing about business since she treats customers so rudely. I have never seen such terrible customer service in real life. This place will probably close down soon. Beautiful dresses and horrible customer service. To begin with, there was absolutely no greeting from the one employee there, she didn't even ask if I needed help looking. After attempting to look for dresses on my own I go to her to ask if they classify their dresses by size, since I could not find mine. She looks at me with disgust and said "check the back they're all there". Did not even bother moving to see if I had found it. So I find a dress and then ask her if I can try it on, I don't know what it was with this bitter old lady but she replied with a "yes" that made me want to leave since she made it seem like she wasn't okay with me being there. I needed a dress at the last minute for a wedding and the ladies there were extremely helpful, I also had other events coming up and I ended up leaving with 2 gorgeous dresses for a 200$. The dresses they have are just like the ones you see at the Manhattan. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, but one star was the absolute lowest star rating I am able to give. Long story short this place will either sell or give a dress to their family member or someone else even though you had placed it on a 24 hour hold and arrived to purchase the dress before the 24 hour hold was up. Below is the full story if you're interested. But do not waste your time or your money with this arrogant unethical disgusting establishment!!!! My sister went last night (Friday)and found a dress she loved. It had some damage but she said she would be back tomorrow to purchase the dress as is. She told Dona (the rep at the Roosevelt Field Mall location) that she would be back the next day before closing. Dona said it was not a problem and she would place the dress on a 24 hour hold for her. My sister came back today (Saturday-less than 24 hours later) to purchase the dress. When she walked in, Dona told my sister that her manager had taken the dress, stating that it could not be sold due to it being damaged. When we asked to speak to the manager , Dona responded that the manager had just left for the evening. My sister told Dona to call the manager. She refused. My sister got suspicious and asked did you sell my dress. Dona said no and lied saying that the manager did not want to sell the dress to my sister. My sister reminded Dona that she had agreed to purchase the dress the night before, and that she was going to be back today. I then interjected and said I don't understand why you would promise to put a dress on hold for a customer who said they will be back the next day before closing and then decide to pull the dress from being sold. Dona ignored me and gave me an arrogant look even though she heard me. My sister was at this point in tears begging for Dona to call the manger to come back with the dress that she was planning on wearing for my wedding. All Dona was able to say was no sorry I can help you find something else. My sister said we tried last night and nothing fits me currently and it's not the color or look I wanted. At this point my sister pleaded did you sell my dress to someone else even though I promised I'd be back today. Dona said yes, I gave it to my cousin because she loved it. After hearing that, I was so annoyed and I asked her what kind of establishment says that they will put a dress on hold for 24 hours for someone and then gifts it to their cousin that same dress. I told Dona that had my sister came in on Sunday or another day after the 24 hour hold that's understandable but she came before the 24 hour hold was placed, and she first lied saying the manger won't sell the dress to cover up the fact that she gifted the dress to her cousin. If she was going to gift the dress to her cousin then why have that dress on the floor waiting to be sold?! Dona was rude and arrogant to me and had nothing to say when I asked her to explain herself and that judgement call she made. She looked at me unapologetically, because she knewshe was completely in the wrong. I refuse to let this unethical behavior go, and they will not only be hearing from me but I will expose this disguising establishment until they go out of business for good. This place is horrible. I never write reviews however I literally experienced the worst customer service ever. Looking around for dress and a lady asked if I needed help so I asked her oh do you have any long sleeve dresses and she rudely goes nope none meanwhile I saw many and was just asking since she asked. Like why ask if you don't wanna help. I then proceed to look at a dress I like and told my friend it was pretty and she jumps in and goes thats a size 4! It won't work on you. Absolutely worst customer service I've ever had, I was waiting for my friend to get dressed after trying out our dresses, and the lady working at the front desk (blonde hair) really came up to me and asked if me or my friend were getting anything and I replied nicely with a no and she told my friend to get out of the fitting room and leave because we were "taking too long" take in mind we were trying on PROM dresses AND there was only one other customer in the store. This review is long over due. I agree with the person before me. If zero stars was an option I would rate this place zero stars. I was gifted a coat from Runway NY and noticed the coat was expelling feathers non stop to the point where I would take my coat off and be covered in feathers. We took the coat back to runway NY and was instantly greeted by dirty looks coming from the BLONDE sales associate. I can't tell you her name because she is so unapproachable we couldn't even get two words out of her. When we finally approached her to ask for assistance in our exchange we told her "we bought a coat wore it for about 10 minutes and its expelling feathers" she took one look at the coat and said "you took the tags off we cant help you" at this point my mother steps in and says "I paid for this coat it wasn't cheap and this isn't what I paid for to which she replies "that's not our problem, you should read what you're buying the coat is made with feathers you should take the time to read what you're buying" all while speaking to us the most loud condescending tone. When we asked to speak to a manager we were greeted by an older woman who said she was willing to work with us as long as we picked something else - the whole time this blonde sales lady is speaking loudly in another language and giving us the dirtiest looks as I was trying on new coats. At some point my mom is speaking to the older sales associate and the blonde sales associate butts it and starts screaming at my mom stating "if you don't want our products don't shop here" "if you want to go spend more money elsewhere that is your problem you don't need to buy things here" at that point she picks up the coat claiming the coat is dirty and they will no longer be exchanging it and to leave the store all while sarcastically laughing. My mom proceeds to tell her she is rude and condescending and she GET'S IN MY MOMS FACE AND STARTS YELLING AT HER! At which point my uncle steps in and asks her to not speak to my mom in that way and she says "get out of my face or I will call security". Bottom line is their merchandise is awful but their customer service is even worse. No matter the situation there are ways to speak to people and clearly this sales associate has no idea how to properly deal with customers. The dresses are nice , but I walked in at 8 :30 and I wanted to try two dresses and the lady said we are closing when they close at 9:00 , all I needed to do was try it on and get it but no they were rude about it. Then I asked her if I can buy it and if it doesn't fit I will bring it back the next day since they didn't wanna let me try it on and she says no we have a no refund policy. They were trying to get 3 people out the store and even said the register was closed , 30 minutes before it closed . The customer service here is absolutely ridiculous, I always liked trying on dresses and I know what dress size I am. Me and my friends went here to try on some dresses and the lady in the fitting room looked up and down on me saying that the dress would not fit me and did not let me go in the fitting room at all. After me asking and giving a very unpleasant look she said go in and try it, but looked at me as if I wasn't going to fit in it. The dress fit me perfectly and it was beautiful but because of the customer service I didn't want to buy it at all. I went there to search for a graduation outfit and as I was trying on clothes in the dressing room the sales rep (blond white lady) very rudely told us that she overheard us saying we didn't like the clothing and to hurry up and get out. She then stated that we are wasting her time and she has more productive things to be doing, despite there being not one single customer in the store. The clothes are cheap and the customer service is one of the worst I've ever encountered. This place has really cheap clothing, and not only that service is terrible. I tried on a dress one size too big, and once I came out I said the dress was too big. The employee proceeded to snap at me saying she figured it wouldn't fit me, and continued to yell at my friend. She said we didn't belong in that store because we were teenagers and we were wasting her time because she thought we only wanted to take pictures. In reality I was looking for dresses for formal parties, and my friend was looking for a dress for a sweet 16. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I went here today to accompany my friend find her prom dress, she found a beautiful dress and wanted to try it on to see how it would look on her. A BLONDE lady replied no because she can only allow "real costumers" to try on dresses, she assumed because we were young we didn't have the funds for it but we did if not we wouldn't be there in the first place. I was talking to my friend and said "well how are you suppose to know if you like it and want to buy it if you don't try it in first" which is when the blonde lady then comes up to ME and says "it's our policy, expensive boutiques like ours have to have serious costumers only." Which didn't make sense to me why she would come up to me to argue and then proceed to act like she knows how to run a business with her 1 other costumer in the store. She continued to argue with me and started talking over me.
