A typical hamburger and sandwich menu augmented by a few special entrees like chicken fried steak or walleye rounded out the choices, in addition to the daily specials. Generally the food was stick-to-your-ribs Midwest fare. The roast beef stood at out as melt-in-the mouth delicious. The chocolate cream pie was also a highlight. The ambience was "small-town hole-in-the- wall," with wait staff who were timely and friendly. Going there two days in a row probably says more than the rest of this review however, so I will end on that note.
