Those are addicting. :) Fast forward to summer 2020. We are in the middle of a global pandemic. People and businesses are suffering and our numbers in Kansas are beginning to rise. In the interest of protecting public health, on July 2nd Governor Kelly and the Johnson County Commissioners voted to make wearing masks indoors mandatory. On August 1, 2020, I stopped in to pick up a bottle of wine. The sales associate was not wearing a mask. She greeted me and I asked her, "do you not wear masks here?" She answered, "no." I said, "ok", and I immediately left the store. I called the business, and informed the sales associate that by not wearing masks the were in violation of executive order #20-52, and that I would report it to the designated hotline for violations of that order. The sales associate said, "ok," and the conversation ended. Ten minutes later, I get a call from a number I do not know and have never called. A man asked me if I had called his store and his associate. I said I had and he identified himself as the owner and asked what I had said. I explained the gist of the conversation I had with the associate. He then proceeds to berate me and say it's none of my "f**king business." Yelling, he continues and says, "I have a mandate for you: go f**k yourself, and don't ever come back to my store again." This business shows up on Yelp under their company name that handles their liquor license, DRINKALOT L.L.C. but the store name is Top Cellars Select.

They had what we needed, and while I didn't spend a ton of time shopping around, it appears the selection here is more than enough. Tons of beer, lots of wine, and all the other liquors out there. The staff seemed to be in good spirits (no pun intended) and it's easy enough to get in and out since it's in a large strip mall that sacrifices almost all aesthetic appeal for an oversized parking lot.
