While talking, they mentioned they could also get a piece of missing siding replaced! I had a piece that I bought as the wrong color wanting to replace it myself, but didn't have a ladder tall enough. This was a no brainer to go with them, since they could get all of our needs met in one visit and had availability to do everything within a few days of me calling. While cleaning the gutters, they noticed things like incorrect screws keeping them up, and went ahead and replaced them for us! They also fixed some of our shingles on the roof line that were popping up behind the gutter so that they lay flat again. They did a great job cleaning, cleaned up the job site, and the siding looks amazing. I am SO happy to have all of these things done! They did this all for a great price and were in and out in 2 hours. I have so much peace of mind now knowing that all of these things are finally done. I'll get the bad parts out of the way. Techs arrived an hour late. I operate on a schedule because I value my time. This shouldn't have happened. Be on time for all things professional. When they arrived, I didn't know. Apparently there was a text on my phone at 9:05am, but as I said, I operate on a schedule, so I was busy and didn't see my phone. I knew they were there from hearing a ladder hit the top of my house. Again...professionalism. Ring the doorbell or call. Don't just start work. There are ways of doing this... Turns out, once the job got started, Fred noticed that my gutters were installed with similar laissez-faire, so he was good enough to fix those issues while he was up there. That above and beyond was wholly appreciated, so they get an extra star. The tardiness absolutely would've lost that star, normally. Fred seemed like a decent, easy-going guy, and a pleasure to deal with. He was the first to contact me when Yelp told everybody about my project. Days later, a different company just called me about the job, so I like Fred's not wasting time on this (aside from being late.) However, I like bidding wars for my attention, so I told him I'd wait for other responses. He knocked off a hundred bucks to get me to reconsider. As a card carrying Liberal, I also like wars to end quickly. The job was well done. I mean, it's probably hard to do it badly unless you're really trying. Before the work, he came by the house and I picked out which guards to use. It cost me a thousand dollars for 2.5 stories, 4 "bedrooms." It's a big house. I expected that price. He worked from 9am to 12pm and during that time removed a nest. I don't do lateness and I'll never let it slide, so I mentioned it here without taking away stars. All in all, good work. A.

During installation I found that the screens had holes in two of them and there was a large deep scratch on one of the windows When I called they sent someone out immediately to correct the issue. I get a lifetime transferable warranty and now that it's winter, I can tell they are much less drafty. I'm very happy that I can open my windows now and windex both outside and inside. If you are looking to get your windows replaced I would definitely put Zen on your list for a quote. Good luck! Shawna B

The workmanship of the team doing the install was fantastic. The quoting process was easy and…read morestraightforward. They truly do not ask for any payment until complete (but they do ask for payment on the day of install.) I deducted stars because it took a very long time. I placed the order in Aug 2025, and the final work was not completed until June 2026. Nearly every window had service issue with broken pieces, dangerously sharp (and ugly) welds, etc. I also ordered a custom color that was not the same color as the chip I selected from. Zen was very responsive and took care of everything, but it took several trips and additional orders with the factory for replacement pieces. They sent delicious cookies asking for a review, several months before the install was complete. The quality of the windows is not at all as expected. Again, the install is great. I think they did everything well to make sure the install around the window was sealed, insulated, and caulked well (very neatly done). However, the actual windows are not very efficient. I've been through a cold part of winter and through hot summer. There is no positive change in my HVAC bill in the past six months, in fact, the energy usage has gone up, and I can feel the heat or cold radiating through. In summary, Zen Window's customer service and installation is excellent. The quality of the product has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend the product. Not at all a good value. I do not feel like I got what I paid for. I don't see a difference between these and cheap builder grade windows.
