My family of five are currently Cricket customers and we have had great service at our local Cricket store (different state). We sent her the phone so she could set up her own Cricket account, switching from her current phone carrier. They would not help her and were very rude. Not just once but twice! They told her I would have to fly in and personally activate it and the second time she went in, they would not sell her a SIM card (which you can buy anywhere) I am not going to explain the whole story because it is just too dumb. Long story short, we bought our own Universal Cricket SIM card from Target and sent it to her. We then called Cricket customer service and with their awesome help she is now all set up on her Cricket phone and with a new Cricket account. No need to go to this awful, rude, unhelpful Cricket store!! They could have had a loyal customer that would have likely come in for an upgrade, etc. soon, but instead they have ruined any chance for repeat business. We were so annoyed by this, that I seriously considered changing phone companies for my family of five and taking my sister with me. But then I remembered the great service we have received from our local Cricket store and also when we have called into Cricket customer service, so I decided to not let this one lousy Tahlequah location ruin all of that.
