They had no idea of how to tie it in to my system, and of course when I called back to report the problem I got no help. Also my light was out in spa and I said I needed a new one. But instead of diagnosing the problem as being just a bad light bulb, he installed a whole new light for $400. When I told him I didn't appreciate him wasting my money like that, he just laughed. It's really a shame because Blue Haven used to be a good company.

Original layout was wrong, not following the plan, had to be redone. Most of the work was done by sub-contractors who lacked the ability to do the job correct. It took almost 3 times as long to finish. Shoddy finish. Some of plaster had to be redone, Brick trim started falling off a month later. Plumbing leaked, equipment failed or did not work correctly. Had to hire another contractor to redo some parts and correct all the problems. Warrenties were not honored. Most of the equipment had to be replaced by another company. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with a construction related business.

We went into this location expecting to receive help and guidance on what was needed to keep our pool running and in good shape throughout the season, which is far from what we received. Everytime we go in we are told that the water testing machine is "broken", but I honestly think the employees just don't want to get off their cell phones to engage with the customers in the store. In three months we have spent $700 in your store. This came with no guidance, no education, and here we are still battling to keep our pool properly maintained. It is obvious now after visiting a new pool store, your employees were just trying to sell us random products, $700 worth at that. During our visit to the new pool store today, after detailed questioning of our pool needs we were given step by step instructions to solve the issues. The products needed for this cost us only $49. I feel like we have been robbed of so much money from your store due to laziness, and lack of education of your employees. I will be sure to never recommend this store and tell everyone I know with a pool to give their business to the new company we have switched to.

We had a limited access back yard but the crew handled everything. the use of their own in-house people makes a huge difference. the communication was outstanding and all questions were answered with complete understanding. the crews don't mess around, they get with it. The pool was built on time in the January weather. Quality material and workmanship is what you expect and get from this company. They have been in business around 50 plus years. They deliver personal & professional service with a smile every time I call or stop by. They even let me pay my bill over the phone. This is a family run business that treats me like family each and every time I go there. I like being able to deal directly with the designer who is also the owner. There are no pushy sales people to deal with which is a big plus. The office staff has always been courteous and helpful. They also have some of the most beautiful Koi fish I have ever seen in their pond. I only wish they were open on Saturdays. Nothing ever breaks on my pool until they are closed for the weekend. :)
