Itamar Levy does do all the onboarding and is super charming, then you will more than likely get kicked to someone else. Mike Barrows is who I got and is a good guy, definitely smart and competent, like him a lot, all business but that's cool, I don't think your divorce lawyer should be your therapist. I did feel supported and like the firm was on my side. Communication was rough though. Sometimes super fast, often had to send several emails and messages over days to get any response. Getting a paralegal to respond almost impossible. Often repeatedly asked the same question and nothing. I understand these firms have lots of clients, and its all stressful, but can't say I feel or felt like a priority. Once the agreement was finalized I got kicked to someone else to deal with a property transfer and here the nightmare is ongoing. I've repeatedly asked for clarity and get one liners. I'm still in limbo, being billed, and it feels like no one is focusing or interested in helping. So, a super decent and competent firm, but I don't feel I've been supported all the way. That said, there is much much worse out there and this is a good choice.

This firm has no teeth, no fight, and will do absolutely nothing to protect your interests. From the very beginning, they failed to mention that they don't even go to court. Despite the ongoing and obvious issues with my co-owner--my brother--they strung me along for over two years, charging $5,000 upfront, another $9,000 later, and then hitting me with an additional $27,500 at closing without any prior disclosure. All this, and yet no real progress was made. They allowed my brother's lawyer--a local storefront real estate attorney charging only $4,400 over two years--to completely push them around, dictate the terms, and walk all over me. My lawyer had no fight in them to stand up to the other lawyer, protect my interests, or stop me from being taken advantage of. My brother unilaterally evicted tenants, costing me 18 months of rental income, and I made it clear I would not pay for renovations and wanted the property sold as-is. Despite this, Russo Law Group let my brother take full control of the situation while I was left with no say. To make matters worse, after all that time and money, they revealed that they don't handle court cases and would simply pass me off to another firm for legal action. The only reason he called me back is because the Law Guardian called for an emergency hearing. When we went to court for the hearing he wasn't prepared to represent what happened even though I supplied him with evidence which would have helped my case. 4. After firing him, he refused to send me my file unless I paid him a final bill.
