My husband and I cannot express how gifted she is. He was skeptical at first but he constantly sings her praises. We invited her into our home to help us select a paint color for our interestingly shaped living room. We had just changed the floors from dark hardwood to light hardwood and the old color did not work. Also, we have a dark corner. She got to know us. She learned our needs and desires and was amazed that she looked/examined our home - the entire house - to understand it and us - the lighting, configuration and unchangeable items. She then asked me about 2 different color families - one I did not care for so we worked with the other - She started determining the color from our KITCHEN - I was amazed - I would have started out with the Living room area - but she started from an area where we had unchangeable things - such as the color of our tile floor, cabinet colors and our granite countertop. Let me tell you - our Kitchen finally looks complete and cohesive. It looks professional and very, very comfortable. We feel so much more comfortable in our home when friends stop by. Also, the color that we selected did wonders for our stone fireplace. My husband and I have called her at times just to tell her how pleased we are. I have to admit - it has taken me time to adjust to the color - I am very slow to change but the pleasure in her works grows all the time. She has also helped us select new furniture --- and the biggest thing was the color and fabric selection. We have a painting in the living room that we love and wanted to highlight- before it was hidden with the many conflicting colors that we had - and the new furniture now accents the painting. She also came to help us 'polish' up - placing our furniture and accessories in the right areas and picking up a few more but with a color & height scheme in mind while removing some items that did not work. She gave me the encouragement to replace a mantel that was lopsided and twisted. I was very afraid of the project but after seeing and experiencing all her wonderful work - we braved ahead - the change in mantel completely enhanced our living space. When she would come, I would take notes and then did as she said. She lovingly let us take the changes at our pace. But - She was RIGHT on all the changes. We value her opinion and even asked her about our outdoor window shutters. The house now is much more pleasing to our eyes. I also need to mention that she stayed within our budget. I cannot say enough about her talent and her warm & caring personality.

I didn't think anyone could match the cabinets to our 30 year old kitchen but I went in to humor him. Boy was I suprised. Not only did they build us a perfect pantry but they matched our kitchen cabinets to a tee. We are beyond happy with the job they did. We had been looking for a nice three tiered fountain for awhile and this place looked promising. We were greeted warmly and offered assistance but we chose to walk around and check out all the statuary in their yard before settling on a lovely three tier fountain with pineapple top and a beautifully hand painted (by proprietor Brad) garden gnome. We learned that all the statues are made right there on the premises and that it was a multi-generational family business. Brad and his assistant were gracious enough to package up and load our purchases the following day when we headed back home to North Carolina. If y'all are in the Eastern Tennessee area and in need of garden statues or fountains this is the place to visit. Huge selection at truly wholesale prices.

I spend a lot of time in my chair and, on occasion, fall asleep in my chair. Wednesday my wife thought my chair was beginning to smell a bit like body odor. So, she had a wonderful idea of spraying my chair with lavender scented air freshener! Good news - no more body odor smell. Bad news - The strong smell of lavender chemicals could be sensed throughout the house. A classic case of going from bad to worse. By Thursday we were in full panic mode desperately needing to have our fabric chairs steam cleaned. We did not know of a recommended company, so I went to Yelp. And this is where you Yelp reviewers add so much to our shared world! In San Diego there are enough companies performing steam cleaning to fill a phonebook. (Note to young Yelpers. Sorry, you have probably never seen a phonebook!). I conducted a Yelp search based upon "Highest Rated". I saw several highly rated companies but quickly focused upon Miracle Services Green Carpet Cleaning. I liked that Miracle is a veteran owned company and that owner Gary personally performs cleaning services. I phoned Gary Thursday afternoon and left a voice mail. Gary returned my call within maybe 10 minutes. Gary overviewed his cleaning process which uses no harsh chemicals, only eco-friendly products. Gary outlined his schedule openings for the following week. I pounced upon his first opening which was for 1pm the following afternoon. Gary phoned late Friday morning saying he had finished his morning job early and could be at my home by 12:30pm, if that worked for me. Hell yes, 30 minutes less time smelling lavender chemicals was greatly appreciated! Gary arrived and took stock of the situation. Our chairs sit on a custom tiled floor. Gary has experience with grout, was concerned for the high-quality tile and recommended we carry chairs to the garage for cleaning. I respected Gary's knowledge of both carpeted floors and tiled floors. Gary immediately started work. He ran hoses from his well-equipped van into the garage. Gary's van outfitted with a compressor provided high pressure steam and eco-friendly cleaning solutions to remove oils from chairs (or carpets). An hour and a half later Gary knocked on door from garage. Gary reported successful job completion and walked me through the process and results. What a relief - no body orders, chairs look new and lavender smell greatly reduced. Gary was kind enough to leave behind a small container of a chemical for final elimination of the lavender scent. When chairs dry from cleaning, we could mix chemical in a spray bottle with water. Then we can spray the chairs and eliminate lavender smell forever. Gary was kind to leave us the chemical as that eliminated need for a follow-up service visit. In summary, Miracle Services is a veteran owned business providing top quality steam cleaning services at very reasonable prices. Please call Gary next time you need steam cleaning services!

I want to patronize my local businesses instead of big box chains when I think I am going to get…read morebetter quality even if I pay a little more. I have personally seen and purchased some of Hibriten's lumber and can tell you it is good quality. But, with that said, one day I needed more lumber then I could transport myself and got them to deliver. The day it was delivered I started to use it. And let me tell you something, only four of the boards were fit for anything! All others were twisted, chunks missing, big dents, huge knots, dry and cracked like it was left outdoors for a few years. On top of this, one board was cut in half to make two boards I wanted. The bad thing of this was that they didn't cut it straight nor get them cut to the right length. One half was longer then I needed and the other was shorter. When I called Hibriten and told them what I got, the response was a very calm southern "Sorry, would you like to bring in the one that was cut short for a replacement?" To this I was thought, "Wow, really!?" I get the same customer service at big box stores! And let me tell you, if I had went to a big box store I would have paid less money. So they have lost me as a customer since they can't treat me better then this, I will get the same quality and cheaper somewhere else.
