For a moment, I wondered if the center was open, but then I could see employees inside the moving about. I'm assuming they roll a cart out front on nice weather days for convenience. This location appears to be very well-kept as all the items I could see inside were neatly stacked. I was able to park and place the few boxes and bags I had in the bin in less than 15 seconds. Fastest, contactless donation drop-off ever. It is also easy to get in and out of this location, which is a huge plus considering traffic these days...especially in the Boro.

It is located in the square around Rutherford County Historic Courthouse ( Murfreesboro ) There are alot of different vendors including Local Farmer's. There are seasonal Fruits and Vegetables, Homemade Sauces, Baked Goods and much more. It can and does get very busy so you may have to drive around a bit to find a street parking spot. There is also a garage, but I've never used it. You can usually find a spot. There are also usually a couple of food and beverage trucks and there are also some restaurants located in the square. All of the vendors are so nice and just walking around the square you can meet people out just enjoying the weather, the food and the people. You can spend an hour just enjoying the whole scene. I highly recommend if you've never been. Enjoy

There are several large produce booths every week, and a variety of smallest vendors that rotate. Besides produce, other vendors sell meat and eggs, baked goods, flowers, prepared meals, gourmet peanut butter, and arts and crafts. Whatever you're looking for, you'll find it at the market! The busiest hour of the day is 10am. I recommend arriving early to avoid the crowds and getting a parking space just off the square. If street parking is full, there is also a parking garage on Lytle street.

I was lucky enough to get a tour OFSDS and this place is unlike any dog shelter I've ever seen, It's truly a sanctuary. They only cater to senior pups that we're either turned in, found, or the owner is no longer capable of caring for the dog. Every room here has a purpose; there areas for dogs who are missing limbs, blind or going blind, large outdoor areas for bigger pups, and even an indoor sensory area for dogs who are sensitive to bright lights and loud sounds. In this same sensory section is a water tank with a treadmill inside to help overweight pups get lean. They also have a huge restaurant sized kitchen, where they prepare and create food for dogs with dietary issues. I could go on forever about Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary, but you really should just experience it for yourself. They are always looks for dog loving volunteers!
