I ordered 18 roses, $150+. The first delivery didn't get delivered, so it was moved to the next day. Which was okay. The delivery was going to an Air B&B, so I provided the recipient's cell # and the gate code so that the flowers could be delivered to the door. The recipient never received the flowers. I asked her to look for them in the courtyard, etc... Nothing. I called Ruth's Roses to find out what the story was, and they said that the roses had been delivered. I informed them that the recipient had not received the flowers and had not left the room all day. That was on Friday. I asked for PoD and they said it would be the following week. Monday or Tuesday. On Tuesday, I received the picture below, showing that they had left the $150+ roses outside of the front door, near the street. I asked them to make it right. The response was that they'd put a note in that delivery address to not leave them on the street/front door in the future. As for me, they'll never see another order from me... ever. read more

I ordered a gerbera daisy arrangement for my niece. What arrived was a lame bunch of alstroemeria with 1 rose and 1 gerbera. I emailed to complain and was offered a partial refund of $20. The refund didn't post in the timeframe I was given, so I emailed again to ask where it was and was told the accounting department said I had already received a discount at the time of order. Huh? How is it possible to receive a customer service credit for the order not living up to expectations at the time of order? My advice - pay better attention to who you are ordering through. I thought they were local. They do a good job of marketing themselves as such. I should have figured out from the array of arrangements offered on the website that it wasn't a local operation -- and I should have hung up when I realized the call I made to order the flowers was answered in a phone bank somewhere. I ordered flowers for my daughter to be delivered to her work. They were not delivered by 4, the time she got off work. I called 5 times to speak with someone to see where they were with no help. They said they had until 7 to deliver even though the website never said that. I will never use this company again and warn others not to also. DO NOT USE!!!!! the worst, let me repeat, WORST online merchant i have ever used. ordered flower arrangement to be delivered to funeral home on thursday for a friday funeral. NEVER DELIVERED. when i called the following tuesday, after finding out, was told to hold while they checked with driver. 10 minutes later, back on phone and told they couldnt contact driver so i would have to wait until thursday???!!!! asked for supervisor, told there was none. online ad lead me to believe they were a local company. not until i went back online to i find out differently!!!! thank god chase has my back and they credited my credit card!!!
