I got a full detail and they did an absolutely amazing job in such a short amount of time, maybe 40 minutes or so. They did an interior detail/dry shampoo, pressure washed my wheels, waxed my car and cleaned the engine, I can't believe how well of a job they did, and my car has never been this clean and it smells good. The last full detail I had from Car Pool Detail took the whole day and was over $250 almost double the price of what i paid for this, and that was only for an interior detail. This was my first time using a mobile detailing service. I used to live in CA and just dropped it off at my guy there. I was a bit apprehensive since the communication had been efficient but certainly curt, and I was worried about what would be needed on my end. A water source? An outlet? But when Elliot arrived, he was super awesome and kind and he brought everything with him! He had his own water in the little trailer and did a fantastic job. We had just driven across the country and my car was covered in dead bugs and sand inside from the White Sands National Park. He got it back to brand new. There is a company fraudulently using RVA business name on Groupon. The company on Groupon is awful. I have reported this to Groupon, but I don't know how fast they will respond. My car is almost spotless in an hour so they were really good I'd say! $150 for my SUV. My only complaint is the booking procedure--advertised as through the app but was told to call and then the day I wanted was given away when I wasn't able to contact them in time despite attempting to make the arrangements concrete in the app. When I did call, I could barely hear the man--several people shouting and laughing along with music blasting in the background. And he was clearly frustrated I couldn't hear him..then I get the confirmation text right after with the wrong appointment time. It's a quick fix with a "sorry" attached. So it just felt really casual and not super professional and for that kind of money I'd expect a little more. I had to cancel last minute once too and was able to reschedule no problem, he was very understanding, which was appreciated! The guys who came to do the car were nice if also pretty casual and did a good job. read more

Like anyone else here, I look at Yelp reviews before I try a vendor to see if they're likely going to provide excellent/poor service. I've given poor reviews to warn others and 5 stars for services like this. I've paid $300 at other detail places and been very disappointed - this place 1) comes to you as scheduled (so you're home - not sitting in a store front for 3 hours) 2) bring their own water tank for fresh water, generator for power, etc 3) cost $175 spray wax or $225 two coats hard wax by hand which is way less than the last detail I got. 4) texted before our appointment when he was going to be a little late. My tech was ELLIOTT who is the nicest man, very conscientious, super detail oriented and thorough. Seriously did THE BEST DETAIL I've ever gotten (and you know I'll say it if it's bad...) - inside, out and under the hood - finally found the detailer I'll stay with! I can see why they have over 30 five star reviews here! read more

I truly appreciated them coming out as I was being very difficult that day I had other plans but they decided to come out anyway and wait for me as I told him that this was really an emergency my car was disgusting. the one thing that I really loved about the service was that they were able to come out to me and I didn't have to worry about driving out to them as during this time due to Covid and since we are quarantine I didn't have the time nor the effort to really decide on a schedule that will work best for all of us if I didn't need to drive out to them. They came out with their own equipment and my car does look like you I wanted to make sure that I got all of the trash out that they were able to get really well underneath my seat to vacuum my carpet as well as shampoo it and just have it ultimately look like new. I can't say for certain if they actually shampoo the seats but what I will say is is that whatever things I did have on there they were removed and the smoke smell is definitely removed out of the car as well. I asked my boss if he knew a reasonable detailing company and he told me that a neighboring business used one monthly for all their employees and he thought the name was Richmond VA Detailing. I found RVA and took a chance. I noticed they were Veteran owned. Being a veteran, I took a chance and gave them a call yesterday to let them know today was my wife's birthday and that's the main thing she asked for was a detailing of her car. The price was very reasonable compared to other companies I called 6 months ago. My wife had no idea they were coming, only the fact that someone would be showing up and needed the keys to her vehicle for maintenance. They played alone with my little scheme and kicked ass I'm cleaning my wife's car. Sorry for the language, the you made my wife's day.
