The service was contracted with the understanding that the work would involve only a steam/deep cleaning and no resurfacing or sanding. The agreed-upon price for this service was $450, which I considered reasonable given the scope of the job. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was severely deficient. Upon completion, the floors appeared incomplete, with visible damage in multiple areas. Specifically, the protective coating was stripped away in patches, and there are at least four sections where the wood itself has been excessively abraded or sanded, resulting in exposed flakes, splinters, and uneven surfaces. In contrast, other portions of the floor showed no evidence of having been cleaned at all. I contacted Floor Pro to inspect the damage and requested a resolution. In response, they proposed to repair the issues by buffing and sealing the entire downstairs floor at a discounted rate of $6,200. This offer raises serious concerns about their business practices, as it appears to escalate a simple cleaning job into a far more extensive and costly repair. I cannot help but question whether the initial damage was intentional, designed to coerce customers into additional, higher-priced services. After we initially reported issues such as a cabinet door being re-installed backwards, paint on the floor, and missed spots, Mr. Hernandez promptly sent his crew back out to correct them. We appreciated the quick response at that time. Unfortunately, we have since identified additional areas needing attention, and despite assurances, those issues have not been addressed. Mr. Hernandez has not responded to my husband's most recent message, which has been disappointing. We also never met Mr. Hernandez in person, even though he mentioned he would be present at the start of the job. Juan and Geronimo, the crew members who worked in our home, were respectful and professional throughout the process.
