But before you read this review, you should read my previous review, as the content below is a continuation of additional information from the experiences that continue to materialize from Ryan's interaction with me by email and voice mail messages. I again received more phone calls from Ryan Eliason. Of course, I allow them to go to voicemail since they are robocalls. Believe it or not, even though he informed all attendees at the conference, that the last day of the conference would be the final day to take advantage of the offer, he continues to make that offer. He is trying to make one feel that he is bolstering it, by providing everyone another free short (I assume again 15-minute) coaching session. It's not what it appears to be. It's an opportunity for this coach or Ryan to gain you as an audience once again so that he has another chance to convince you to buy into his over $5,000 non-refundable program. You already know my experience with his coaches and also now know that they are in his subpar class. So like Ryan, they also have no formal education in business, MBA, or any genuinely successful businesses that they can pull ideas from (it's called experience). They are not qualified to help you with business. That's enough to make you laugh and even worry. Would you have someone who's pulled out one of their teeth, serve as your dentist? No! How about having someone who was the slowest on the track team become your coach? No! But the real question is, would you have someone who has had continuing business failures, who opens up a business coaching practice, help you to succeed? What did he tell his clients in those first few years to have them buy into him? What lies must he have propagated? Well, today, I realized something far more monumental. Why Ryan speaks from the heart, it seems very fake. The automatic manifestation of a lot of animation and excitement goes together with anything that one is passionate about. It appears by default for everyone. When we speak about something we're excited about, we, as humans, cannot help but to get louder, get excited, smile more, yell with excitement, and display a lot of emotion. I noticed that today when I listened to his voicemail message that Ryan left, that this was missing. I then recalled moments in the conference, recalling how he spoke to his audience, and I realized it was the same. It lacked the luster that comes with any level of passionate stance. He says the following on today's voicemail message, "...I felt such a high at the event, and after the even and I just still feel wonderful. I'm just so filled up with all the love that was in the room and all the amazing transformation that took place and all of the truth that was spoken there and anyway, it was just a great weekend for me, and I hope it was a wonderful weekend for you as well." He states all this without any display of emotion or passion, and then quickly rolls into another offer to hook you into buying his non-refundable $5500 program. It's just so phony! All the love? Nearly 40% of his audience vanished after the first day! When people leave, it's because they cannot tolerate any more or because they see that what someone is offering is not genuine. Ryan already closed over $350,000 in sales at the conference, but he wants more. He has to legitimize his statement of making over $2 million each year, and that every year it increases. Since he only has one conference per year, I don't know about you, but it appears that he's nowhere close to reaching that milestone, let alone surpassing it. Kind of points to the direction that it never really happened. Bottom line: when you put all the facts together, Ryan is a non-qualified fraud who peddles his sham. Please don't fall into his trap. I agree with Jane R, and only wish I'd seen her review earlier. What a lame program. I am very disappointed. I think that all entrepreneurs who wish to offer such programs should have to pass a review before being allowed to sell their programs. The online space appears to be overrun with snake oil salespeople, rather than honest, value-providing entrepreneurs - and Ryan appears to have joined their ranks. I feel he violated my trust. Despicable. I was looking for an updated, fresh approach to create a socially focused, heart-centered business that would help people and planet while also earning money. I was promised coaching to transform my ideas into a real socially-conscious business. This program is well-chewed, overly worn and very basic - the polar opposite of the robust program they sold. Another ridiculous aspect is the program takes several months to roll out (modules are locked until specific dates), so by the time one realizes its inadequacies, it's almost too late. It feels like slick disrespect for people who truly want to help others. Another paradox - one would think a true "social" entrepreneur would be only too happy to refund those who found the program to be less than stellar. For whatever reason. I've encountered people like this - I would say that Mary Morrissey is one - her program that is far richer in content, includes a coach who actually follows up regularly, a live event, and true value, also costs a small fraction of Ryan's and has a lifetime refund policy - no questions asked. I'm not one to take advantage, but it's really comforting to know the bottom line with Mary is she wants to make sure you are happy - and that you find it useful so you'll do business with her again in the future. That builds trust and makes it a no-brainer to recommend her programs - as I'm doing here. In Ryan Eliason's case, when I wanted to talk to someone by phone to get clarity and ultimately, a refund - the phone numbers go nowhere. I've called at various times, and even sent a direct message via Facebook. And I continually have to fight my bank over this as well! Like Jane, I'd requested a refund, after following the modules and have heard absolutely nothing. Interestingly, he and his coaches had plenty of phone contact during the sales blitz they ran to gain their "students". Perhaps if you pay $10,000 or more you might actually get something of value. But I purchased his $2000 "Visionary Business School" program. What an absolutely waste of time and money!! He did an excellent job of hooking you with his free webinars with a lot of great information. The sad thing is that after you paid this incredible amount of money ( I dunno about you, but 2G's is a lot of money for me), you find out that all the helpful information was given for free and what is entailed in the program, is obvious information. Not only is the information old info, that anyone who has been working in the coaching field for any length of time, would've easily accessed for free via webinars and teleseminars. The worst was that Ryan literally READ THE ENTIRE POWER POINT. So not only were you not getting any helpful information, he wasted your time as well. He wants you to recreate your business plan (which I had already gone through a program to teach me how to write a business plan, and had already received a $20,000 loan from my business plan). The modules were elementary to say the least. Instead of naming his program "Visionary Business School" it should be called "Captain Obvious School" I requested a refund, I got an automatic response saying how important my message is, and that someone would respond within 1 business day. An entire WEEK later, I still had not received a response. So I follow up, and get an apology along with a generic message, stating I needed to cancel my subscription in November to get a refund. But no where on my invoice was a date indicated as to when I needed to cancel by. Instead he says, you MUST complete the modules in order to request a refund, so that's what I did. And yet, he wants to keep my $2000, without actually providing anything of benefit. My suggestion. Stay far away from Ryan's programs!!!! If you are truly seeking support for your service centered conscious business. Join one of Bill Baren's programs. He has quality information that provides IMMEDIATE benefit, that you can implement and begin making money right away. I am so very disappointed in Ryan Eliason as a person and as a business. After only 2 modules, it was obvious what a scam artist he was. I wish I had taken the time to write this back in November. But hopefully I can save someone else from wasting a lot of money. I noticed that the two other reviews are from 2010 and I wonder if they were personal friends of his.
