I was recommended through a school friend Ryan Johnson to Attorney Nick Lavella. Nick and his paralegal thoroughly explained the process and answered all of my questions in a timely manner which greatly eased the anxiety I had through this two year process. They also sent me reminders about updates as I do have some memory issues from my disability. Additionally, as our administrative hearing became closer they spent hours of their time working with me on prep. Thusly, I felt prepared when the hearing finally happened. Although I had pretty low chances of winning, due to being under 50 the finding was favorable, and I am unbelievably relieved. This win will allow me to have a better quality of life and take care of my young children without great stress. I cannot over recommend the Social Security disability portion of Keller and Keller. Not difficult paperwork and we were not new clients to this firm. However, we waited for 3 weeks, calling several times a week, but calls were not returned. One day, both my Mother and myself called twice, meaning 4 separate messages we left yet no call backs. I don't know if James didn't get the messages or he chose not to return our calls, but after 3 weeks we went to different law firm, Stuart & Branigin. The next week I set up an appointment with S&B and when I called BE to pick up a copy of the old will, suddenly my calls were returned and "the work paperwork has been completed". Too little, too late. Hopefully this will be a teaching moment for BE. You are NOT the only law firm in town and certainly not good with client services.
