Ryann made our wedding the wedding of our dreams. She rolled with every punch that could be thrown at her and truly went above and beyond to make everything an absolute dream. Some stuff that made our wedding a little harder to plan for 1) My (now) wife and I had a Western wedding with a lot of African elements (dress change, African-version of a money dance, etc), 2) our wedding was in Costa Mesa (Orange County), CA and we live in Brooklyn, NY, and 3) we had a LOT of half-baked DIY ideas. She took all of this, helped us create something perfect for us, and brought our vision to life. Communication was absolutely amazing throughout the process, and we never felt like we were alone in planning. She took charge when she needed to and was always so organized, especially when dealing with so many vendors (and family members) who had strong opinions on how they thought things should work. And even with those folks, she was always optimistic, cheery, and delightful to be around. She constantly made us feel comfortable and helped us have so many private and beautiful moments throughout the day. When we started the planning process with Ryann, we had a vague idea of what we wanted: an intimate, fun, low-key wedding, but we didn't know exactly how to execute that. She helped us to discover what would be perfect for us, and our friends and family loved it too! Choosing Ryann as our wedding coordinator was the BEST decision my husband and I made in our planning decisions. We knew we needed someone creative, reliable, communicative, strong-willed, detail-driven, and understanding - and Ryann + her RKE team was not only that BUT MORE. From the very first phone call to our last meeting before the wedding, Ryann made sure to ask good questions and cover every base (ones we didn't even know about)! She brings a wave a reassurance with her that eliminated any worry, anxiety, or stress we might've had throughout the process and on the day of. Ryann and her assistant, Nicole, helped facilitate our Rehearsal Dinner with our Bridal Party - and also went out of the way to lend a helping hand in our set up. They are both so fast and so knowledgable, and made our night more enjoyable because of it! On the day of the wedding, Ryann was not only there early to make sure everything was ready and prepared for our vendors. We were told during the wedding process that things would go wrong, which did end up happening - as we dropped the ball and forgot all of our mixers and garnishes for our full. BUT - Ryann not only made an immediate decision on how to problem solve, but was so verbally assuring that the night would still be as great as planned. Nicole was able to make a run out during our ceremony and have everything back before we knew it - having an assistant there on the day of is a MUST! Ryann is worth EVERY PENNY! I was the type of bride that was pinching every penny, trying to stretch our budget as much as I could. So when I first heard we were required to have a day of coordinator at our venue I was bummed since it was an expense I didn't account for originally in our budget, but man was I wrong to overlook this necessity. She helped fulfill my poorly communicated vision (I can thank my easy-going personality for that one) beyond my expectations. She was always so upbeat and optimistic and beyond helpful. On our wedding day there were a few hiccups but we had NO IDEA because she took care of it for us so we could enjoy our day. I went into wedding planning thinking I could do it myself but boy was I wrong. My wedding was a few days after finals and as a nursing student, it's hard to focus on anything other than school. She reached out so quickly after I sent an inquiry and immediately worked with me to be able to speak on the phone about any questions I had as well as how she does things. She is a preferred vendor at the Dana Point Yacht Club and knows many vendors and options in the area. Since we were not from the area, she was a huge help in finding us vendors and connecting us with them. She thought of so many things that I would of never though to do/part of the wedding process.
