I waited for 6/7 weeks and heard nothing. I called around week 4 to see when they would be shipped and was told there wasn't any tracking info. When I called back 2/3 weeks later I was told they were delivered 2 days before my original call. Frustrating that I spent money and time to end up empty handed.

From the first moment of contact Sophia's team was professional, accommodating and made me feel like my services were not a transaction but a special moment. Identifying the right photographer to capture a special moment coupled with trying to find the right outfit can be overwhelming. One of the deciding factors for me to choose Sophia was that her packages are a one-stop shop where hair and make-up, outfits/looks are all included, this eleviated much stress of having to shop. I simply flipped through her look book and consulted her on my vision. It was important for me to go to Sophia for my maternity photos because her photos are simply a work of art---timeless, special and eyecatching. Additionally, personally it was important for me to identify a female and black owned business to support. I wanted my future daughter to know that this special moment was captured by someone who understood me and was in her image. Given the pandemic and me being an out of town client there were many questions, accomodations and changes that needed to be made and Sophia's team handled my entire experience with excellent customer service. I have all my pictures and emails to prove exactly what I'm saying. This company would suffice maybe for a birthday party or just candid photos. If you are expecting professional quality photos for something important such as a wedding, you better look elsewhere. I was fooled by the pictures on the website. Cindy was patient and persistent in scheduling our photo shoot around our very hectic lives. As a joke, my fiance suggested we do the shoot at a mud run we had entered. Cindy loved the idea and ran with it! The pictures of us, covered in mud, are better than most people's pictures where they are clean and beautiful in Piedmont Park. Because we loved the pictures that Cindy did for our engagement session, we opted to fly her to Mexico with us to shoot our wedding as well! Again, Cindy's shots were amazing. I wish we had known ahead of time what to expect from our Mayan ceremony, but even going in completely unprepared for what was to occur (due to a language barrier) Cindy was still able to get all the important shots! Cindy and Sharon truly became part of our family and we loved having them with us. When we came home, Cindy put together the most amazing album for us. (This may border on TMI but this was my third wedding however it was the first time I got the professional wedding album.) Cindy removes the overwhelming project of sorting through the thousands of great shots and arranges them for you with an artistic eye. The one thing I would recommend is being prepared for the album upgrade, you'll want more than the standard 30 pages as you will have too many amazing photos to choose from.
