Today I went shopping for a Christmas wreath and a few other flowers and found myself in Bloomsbury…read moreFlowers. What brought me into the shop was the beautiful wreath on the door. The shop was decorated for Christmas and I was feeling a bit envious that I could never get my house to look that festive, no matter what I do. But I did feel I could achieve a similar look with some help. I spoke with the florist who was sweet and knowledgeable, she gave me excellent ideas. By the time I got finished looking around the shop and acting on her ideas I left with a wreath and several poinsettias. Bloomsbury Flowers is a great shop and it is nice to have found a new shop that is near my house. The service is great and since they arrange flowers for every occasion it's the perfect shop. And thanks to the florist I've achieved a wonderful Christmas look at home.

Bloomsbury Flowers was super quick responding to my request to send an arrangement to a friend who had just started a new job. All I gave them were the contact details and color choice. They handled the rest! Given how expensive London generally is, the arrangement was reasonably priced (I even went ahead and asked for an upgrade from the original offer). Less than 24 hours later, my friend received the perfect and lovely bouquet! Very pleased and most importantly, the recipient was overjoyed! Thank you Mark and the team at Bloomsbury Flowers.

I was very skeptical about ordering flowers from Los Angeles, but after getting a surprise call from my Aunt in the middle of the night and hearing her happy voice, you have become my #1 flower shop. I plan to visit you and personally buy flowers from you when I'll be able to travel again to England. Five Stars are not enough, you deserve 10 stars and more! Thank you - and please be safe, Maya

The place is small, but full of charm, character and wonderful staff. The array of flowers and all imaginable accoutrements to make breathtaking displays and arrangements are all to be found in the academy! We arrived and the young woman was in the midst of finishing my wife's bouquet - perfect timing for a final tweak or two, and ribbon choice. It also gave us time to stroll through the store, including the lower level where they give frequent lessons in flower arranging and related arts. Loved it - two thumbs up - Mrs. G will return some time soon for a class or two :)

Truly disappointed in both the service and flowers from this florist…read more As I don't live anywhere close to London, I had to randomly choose a florist to send my best friend some flowers for her birthday and hope that I chose well. I ordered the New York bouquet and what she received was not what I had ordered. Now I completely understand that due to seasonality and availability of certain flowers, an arrangement will not always look exactly as pictured online. However, what my friend received was nowhere even close to what I thought I was paying for. I expressed my disappointment to the shop and have yet to receive a response. I would not recommend ordering flowers through this establishment.

But here they are: Hiden Flower Stand (literally, a pop up trolley of flowers!) permanently parked at the corner of Baker Street and Bickenhall Street right near Baker Street Station. The convenience of this particular stand (between my office and my tube station) have caused me to stop by to pick up flowers on many occasions. Visiting a new baby after work? Done. Flowers for our childminder's birthday on the way home from work? Done. An arrangement for a colleague's birthday/work anniversary/promotion, etc -- easy peasy. This little stand keeps me in good social graces without too much hassle or planning. The pre-made arrangements are beautiful, especially if you are in a rush. If I have a bit more time they will happily take a budget and create something special for you. It's not super cheap -- but for £20 you get a really gorgeous ensemble that will wow whomever is the beneficiary. They finish it off with some elegant/rustic touches, and you'll be all set. Surprise! They actually also take credit cards. Every time I've stopped by, the staff has been really nice and very helpful...not to mention talented in terms of floral arrangements. This is one of my favorite reasons to work on/near Baker Street, seriously!

Urban central London is certainly not a place for the scent of nature but what I like about "Wild…read moreat Heart" (situated in the main entrance of Liberty's) is you smell the flowers before you see them. It is this that makes this flower stand so, well -- lovely! Starting prices are £45.00 for a bouquet. "Wild at Heart" style is simple with strong shape and colour. Unfussy, bold and clean in design. Delivery is free depending on postcodes .There are several sites in London you can order from.
