False advertising and deceptive leasing practices…read more That's the summary of it. I never rented there, because I couldn't. My wife and myself were looking to rent an apartment in the Versailles area, to make my commute to Frankfort easier. This complex had "for rent" ads in the local paper and on some online "for rent" sites. It looked like a good deal in terms of the rent and amenities and location. We went there optimistic, hoping it would look good and we could rent a place there soon. We got there and found the rental office. We set foot inside at 12:02 PM. The office was crowded and there looked to be several people talking to whoever was behind the desk, or in line to talk to them. The person behind the desk looked over at me and said that the office closed two minutes ago, and to get out. Yes, threw us out of the office, because apparently the office hours are only from 10 AM to 12 PM, and they are strict about that. So, we drove to Versailles to find the place and look around, to find the rental office had incredibly restricted hours, that they were very nitpicky about. While we were sitting in our car, surprised and offended, a man walked up to us. Apparently he was a maintenance man for the complex. He asked if he could help us. We explained that we came to look into renting an apartment, based on the ads online and in the newspaper (and the big "Now Renting" sign out at the entrance to the complex). He told us that the complex had no apartments for rent, and was just taking applications to gauge interest for future renting. After he told us this, he walked over and pulled down the "Now Renting" sign at the entrance to the complex. After the bad customer service (and lousy hours) at their office and the admission by an employee that they advertised apartments for rent when they had none available, we were glad we didn't rent here. We could only imagine the way they would be as landlords given how they treated us.
