    Döner Kebap "mit alles"!
    Dirk R.

The most typical meal of Berlin has for many years been the Döner Kebap. Evidence of how cultural imports enrich a country. This Döner Place in Schöneberg offers delicious sandwiches or plates, "with everything" or less. Have it with fries (Pommes) and Ayran (a sour milk drink that balances out the spices). Be ready to stand in line a few minutes and wait until it's done. It's absolutely worth it. We will be back.

IMO def worth the hype! We waited for maybe almost an hour from getting in line till we got our food (came around 7-730pm on a Thursday), but it was well worth it. The döner box alone (and maybe an order of fries ;) ) would be enough for 2 people. It's super saucy though. We also got the gemüse kebab which was huge and filled to the brim, but not as saucy as the box. We went to a couple of different smaller kebab shops and this place was hands down the best. The portions were huge here and they wouldn't skimp on the meat or the veggies! It also has the best fries. It might've even been one of the cheapest places we tried.

This a HOLE in THE WALL my kind of the food. The wait is long, however, it is worth of the wait. Not too many sitting down place. But, if you are patience and okay to sit with others, I don't see any problems. I tried so many Donner Kebab, this is different as they include root vegetables (carrots, partnship, etc..). Try it please!

There's currently a COVID cultural movement declaring "Ohne Kultur, kein Berlin." Or "without culture, there is no Berlin." And the döner kebab is quite possibly one of the most important culinary institutions in Germany that needs our support during lockdown. Some people might tell you that if you're visiting Berlin, Mustafa's is the one place you need to hit up for a döner before you hightail it out of the city. And, well, truth be told, every single restaurant in Berlin could use an extra customer or two these days. But trust me when I say that Rüyam serves up the best döner in Berlin. Beyond the food, this place is a cultural institution because it will teach you German if you don't know "hallo" from "tschüss"--all you need to remember is "einmal mit alles." (My allegiance lies with the yogurt sauce.) Take a look at the graffiti that covers the walls. So Berlin. Plus, when "Milkshake" started playing on the radio once, one of the employees behind the counter danced along to it. Because their döner brings aaaaaaaaaall the boys to the yard.

I came here on a Saturday mid afternoon and the place was still pretty busy. I didn't have to wait that long (maybe 15 min) to order and another 5 min for food. The place definitely isn't great in terms of English, but the staff are very friendly and willing to help you out. They did make a mistake in one of the orders though and gave me something different than what I asked for. I got the normal kebab (the very popular one - gemuse?) and the durum kebab. The gemuse was very good. The chicken was super flavorful and the bread was good as well. The durum wasn't as good unfortunately. It's kind of like a burrito and I didn't like the wrap that much. The portion size is definitely good for one person and can serve as a meal. I think each was like 5 or 6 euros, so this place is good value as well.

I had one day passing through Berlin, and I wanted to try some famous Berlin döner! I read about a couple of the popular tourist places that were reported to have long queues. Then, I read about Rüyam Gemüse Kebab, and wow- they did not disappoint! The chicken kebab was tender, flavorful, and delicious. The house sauces were tasty but not too spicy, all the fillings fresh, and the bread perfect size and consistency. We had to walk ~10 minutes from the nearest U or S bahn station, but there is a bus stop right outside. The business had a small inside for ordering with a few bar seats but most seating was outside in covered patios. The service was extremely friendly and the work environment seemed joyful. They played very loud music - most 90s hip hop when I was there - and staff were singing along and shouting "danke shön" every time someone left a tip. I couldn't quite finish my sandwich, but it was just as good leftover for dinner that night. I highly recommend Rüyam Gemüse Kebab for your next Berlin döner experience!

Stood in line behind a dozen local patrons, withstanding the wind and light snow. Staff here is friendly. Indoor seating is limited but there are 6 or so large picnic tables outside, useful in the nice weather. Wait time (our wait was about 15 minutes) is well worth it. The bread used in their kebab sandwich (No 1) is not to be missed. Mixture of greens, sauce, and grilled, bacon-like meat is well balanced, tasty, and understandably popular.

Yum! Came on a Saturday for lunch and wasn't too crowded. The system they have for taking and fulfilling orders seems a little haphazard to me, but it is more than made up for by the portion sizes and quality. Would definitely recommend!

Oh man, I would give this place 10 stars if it were possible. A close friend who is from Berlin urged us to try this Döner Kebab place. He reckoned "this is the best kebab place in Berlin". For fast, convenient food, this place is such a gem. My parents ordered the official Döner (a sandwich meets gyro) and I ordered a vegetarian plate. Every ingredient came together in such a beautiful way visually and flavorfully. The colors were so pretty I didn't want to start eating! The service was very quick and the workers were so nice and happy to serve us. We sat at a picnic table right outside of the entrance people watched Berliners as we smashed our meal. The potatoes were perfectly glazed (whole dish is GF), the hummus was the absolute best I've ever tasted, and the salad was very very fresh. My parents were equally impressed and satisfied as they devoured their massive Döners. The price reflects cheap street food, but the actual food here is top quality plus giant portions. There are several locations so like my friend Claude said, you MUST give it a try!

Hole in the wall with nice people and good food!!!

There's a reason this place is the best. There's a reason that we went out of the way for this place. They do have some of the best doner kebabs that I have ever had. Mind you this wouldn't be my first pick for a meal ever but my wife insisted. She made me a fan. These were delicious. This is a tiny little place but they are super friendly and welcoming. There's even Turkish tea if you'd like. Everything is cooked up fresh and it's super tasty. I can see why we made the trek to find the location.

Really really tasty. I could always use more Gemüse but the chicken and spices are very delicious

It's a Berlin Döner Place but with cool staff and vegan options. Lines are long at times but worth it.

The sausage is flavorful on its own, and drowning it in ketchup does not make it better (1 star off) and the sprinkles of curry powder gets drowned in the ketchup making it obsolete too (1 star off). Vegan currywurst is an option, but I did not like it. There are a few high-top tables with standing room only, and customers are cordial in sharing the small space. They accept credit cards. I find the tacky murals featuring Cold War era politicians more entertaining than the currywurst.
