All I wanted was information on the flooring that was purchased and installed by them from the owner of the condo I just purchased. They acted like I wanted the previous owner's social security number! All I wanted was the brand, color, style and when it was laid. She got so frustrated with me that the owner said they will only give me the style and the warranties of the product even though it was just laid a few years ago is invalid since she sold the condo. Well I guess that is how businesses get around not doing warranty work. I would never recommend this place of business due to the way I was treated over the phone.

I purchased carpet from Carpetmart thinking they specialize in flooring, so they should be…read morecompetent. The carpet itself is fine, the installation was the problem. I paid the installers were to remove the old carpet and pad, which they did. Apparently they needed to glue down new tack strip, which they did right in front of the previous tack strip(??) but there's an additional charge of $75 for that, which wasn't communicated prior to them showing up. Then I was told it would take 48 hours for the glue to dry and they'd be back to complete the install. Two days later, no carpet installers arrived, needless to say I called Ale, the store manager. He was to call me back with a date the installers would return. Never got a return call from Ale, three days later, I called Carpetmart again! Finally a week after they removed the carpet, I get a phone call saying the original installers are too busy to finish the job!!! They have calls out to other installers and don't know when the job will be complete. Never again will I do business with Carpetmart and I would recommend you shop elsewhere for your carpet needs.

Rick came out and measured, provided a quote and answered a few quetions along the way. He and his wife, Beth were able to advise us on what flooring would best meet the needs of our family. The installers were friendly and professional and got the job done in two days (Living Room / Dining Room). They offer financing, which was nice - things were smooth every step of the way. They even gave us a complimentary microfiber floor mop and cleaning solution. We'll be using them again in a few years when our upstairs needs the carpet replaced. * * * * *
