Encompass Enclosures was hired by me in May of 2021 to extend the lanai on my residence at 30…read moreAuberry Dr, Palm Coast, Fl After only 17 months, I noticed two cracks in the cement floor which run the length of the concrete that was laid down by Encompass Enclosure subcontractor. I notified Jeff Knapp of the situation a month ago. He asked me to send photos, which I did and have not heard back from him at all. From the very beginning of this project Jeff has shown an unprofessional attitude toward my project. He thought it was not necessary to come and view the site where the lanai was to be extended. This decision cost the project 3 weeks when the equipment arrived months later and found they could not get to the site because the equipment was too big and the access too small. He gave me a completion date of October. At the end of December the project was completed. One week before I returned with my family. He did not even meet the time frame. After the job was completed and we had the first big rain, my new lanai flooded because there were no weep holes. When I called him to come over, he tried to say it was my fault because I had the floor painted. He tried to say he would not take responsibility if he drilled the weep holes. Now the concrete slab is cracked after only 17 months and he is showing the same indifference that he always shows. He had an attitude when I asked for the garbage left by his workers be removed. There were boards with nails sticking out. It took days before someone came. I paid $9,000 for this job which may be chump change to Jeff but I am a widow and this project was so that my family could come and enjoy their visits. I asked Jeff Knapp to give me the name of the construction company and I would deal with them directly but he has ignored my request. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and will also contact the Chamber of Commerce and will post a complaint on every site I can find. Dealing with this company is the worst. Every time I hear him on the radio I turn him off. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Also replace are back porch stairs. We knew the A-Team was the only individuals that we would go with so we called them. They came out and gave us a quote and that was all we needed to say yes. Materials in, they set up a time for them to start the projects. Three days later the work was completed and we are very satisfied with the work they did and it looks great. They took their time and made sure it was completed with precision and it looks good. Replaced my built porch gate with a new one and did a fantastic job. You feel that they were doing a project for their homes and were making sure it was done right. They made a decision on the back porch stairs on how to make it look and they nailed it! We also found another small project while they were working on the front porch and they came back to work on what we wanted done. Before they arrived to work, my wife saw them across the street and found out that they wanted pretty much the work we had done and a few more projects. They were just waiting for a quote and hopefully they will go with them. Our friend is also waiting for a quote for a small project they would like done. I am sure they will go with them. All I can say we use them for another project on our home and know it will be correctly and with the better material that was used when our home was built.
