They are super nice and respectful, not intimidating, fair, and fast. They do GREAT WORK and they will not charge you and arm and a leg to do it. Because they are located at the corner of 25th and Carson, you can kill time at the nearby South Side Works. They wanted $1100 to fix all of that in order to pass the inspection. I told them to fail the inspection and took it to an independent mechanic. The independent mechanic welded and fixed the exhaust (without replacing it) and checked the rotors (which were fine) and passed the state inspection and emissions test. He was able to do this all for $200. Do not go here. They will overprice you so much. They will exaggerate any issues that are on your car and try to make unnecessary notifications.

When I arrived, the shop was closed with nothing but a note on the door. There was no text or call to give me a heads-up. To make matters worse, I had already purchased a Groupon voucher that is now non-refundable. If they had at least texted or called to let me know that plans had changed, I would have had ample time to reschedule the appointment with a different mechanic and not miss my road trip. These guys might be skilled at what they do, but their terrible communication and lack of respect for a customer's time made this one of my worst service experiences ever.

I think they were mad because I didn't want to get the work done and was trying to save money, but they ended up sabotaging my hood latch, disconnecting the release cable from the hood latch mechanism, making it impossible to pop the hood. I ended up having to remove the grill and the latch mechanism completely to solve it myself. I thank them for giving me the opportunity to learn more about cars, which I did, but I was thoroughly pissed they messed with my stuff and charged me out the butt. I don't recommend this place.
