The shop quickly concluded they could not find the leak, even though there was clearly a significant air leak still present. The receptionist who answers the phone was excellent and very professional, and we want to acknowledge that. However, we were intitially overcharged and had to ask for the corrections to the bill. A road call fee was added even though we brought the truck directly to their shop. When we questioned the charges for what ended up being no actual repair, the main concern seemed to be getting the bill paid rather than addressing the issue with the diagnosis. We understand that diagnosing truck problems takes time and we are always willing to pay for legitimate service. Unfortunately, in this case the inspection felt rushed and the problem was not resolved. We are not leaving this review to unfairly criticize the business, but simply to share our experience so other drivers know what to expect if they need repairs in the Somerset, KY area. Hopefully the shop can improve their diagnostic process and customer communication going forward.

Could not be more grateful for this place! We started hearing a very loud squealing noise from our…read moretires on our 5th wheel and we had to stop driving. After calling almost a dozen places where no one could help us, finally called Thorough Truck and they came out in less than half an hour! Gene immediately took off our tires, did a full inspection and got us back on the road very quickly. We were very lucky, we thought it was the wheel bearings or our axle, but it ended up being an accumulation of break dust making the noise.
