Everything was perfect. The room was clean and comfortable, and the massage was exactly what I needed. I left feeling refreshed and relaxed.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THIS PLACE IS PAINFUL. The First Lady at the desk tried to updsale me on a massage, which i get from a business standpoint because you're trying to make money, but she was rude and condescending. I wanted something gentle and relaxing and she told me " oh you don't know you're too young". I've had massages done for years and I'm aware of what i like and don't like. I booked the Swedish and she told me it's gentle and wanted me to get acupressure. I told her i wanted the gentle one. The girl who did my massage was entirely too rough, especially since this was supposed to be the "gentle" massage. I asked her repeatedly to be a little lighter with her pressure which she did not do. I almost told her to stop the massage altogether and keep the money. I'm still in a lot of pain from it and there is now bruising. She thought i had knots in my shoulder but it was my bone she kept pushing down on and it really hurt. She kept going back to the same two areas on my upper back after i told her it hurts and it is not a knot and it was my bone. She ignored me and did not listen to my concerns about my PHYSICAL PAIN at all. The second half of the massage was actually pretty nice on my legs and arms. Then at the end i had left her the tip in the room after i got changed since i never saw her face and didnt know who was giving me a massage. I was walking out the door and she started yelling at me (not in English so i didn't understand the problem) so i kind of just stared at her in confusion. Then the first lady at the desk came back and told me i need to tip her and i can't leave without tipping. Even though i was extremely dissatisfied by my massage i don't believe in not tipping, nor was i upset about leaving a tip. I told her i left it in the room. That part is what really upset me the most. I didn't think it was appropriate at all to demand a tip. And i will be perfectly clear, i was NOT UPSET about leaving the tip, but as a former worker who accepted tips for service you NEVER demand a tip and are always grateful if someone chooses to. For her to demand one from me without even checking if i gave one or not is just ridiculous in my opinion, especially when she did a crap job. Don't waste your time or money here, i left in worse condition than when i arrived. read more

Walking into this place of business, I had high hopes. Walking in it smelled beautifully. There was one very important and major issue .. I walked in completely through and into the back looking for someone. This is a concerning lack of protection for ALL clientele. 2 women popped out from two different closed doors, sadly not understanding any English snd barely speaking English. I said to her don't let me interrupt your client .. nonetheless she said what do you need and attempted to make me an appointment. Too bad. I truly would never feel safe and those who are clients can and should mention security and protection for all inside behind unlocked doors receiving treatments. read more

Woman refused to take my gift certificate that was only 5 months old because the owner changed. The name of the business did not. And my certificate clearly said "never expires". She also yelled at me and told me to tip her more. I told her that as the customer, I DECIDE the tip, not the other way around. I will not be back. It's a shame too, because the massage was decent, although she kept speaking to another person during my massage and that made it hard to relax and enjoy. read more

I had eyelash extensions elsewhere and they didn't even last a week. I had them done at S&J and they still looked beautiful after two weeks. The fills made them look even more lovely . Sadly, L&H is no longer the same. They have new owners. I do not know what the issue was between the old and new owners but I was told that they were not informed of how many gift certificates were sold before switching ownership. In addition, NO notice was given to current customers that the transition was going to happen. My parents purchased a $240 gift certificate for my husband and I. When we called to make an appointment, I was told that the owners were different and that the $240 gift certificate (that had no expiration even though purchased a few months before change of hand) was now null and void. As you can imagine how super upset I was about my parents wasting money on an establishment that basically had no intention of giving what they paid for. I was told by one of their current employees that they would "take $20 off but would still have to pay $40 or $50 for the hour foot massage because it isn't their fault and that they still need to make money." I was appalled but understand that it technically wasn't their fault completely. I asked if they could give me the original owner's contact info and they said no. I asked then if I could keep using the $240 gift certificate to negate $20 from future purchases until it ran out so it wasn't a complete loss. They said no. The only "offer" they could give was I could bring two other people with me to take off $20 each but they would both have to pay the $40-$50 per hour AND that would conclude the gift certificate value." I told my husband and parents what happened and we all agreed that it was a horrible offer and that they just lost customers. Its not any real compensation and they don't want to help give a number to contact the original owner. We were robbed. read more

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Not the same amazing owners that it use to be! First off my best friend and I went to get a 60 minute foot massage 2 weeks ago. The moment we walk in there the 2 ladies were very rude. They started rubbing our shoulders and then started getting more and more rough with our necks/head. We both had bruises everywhere! They were very rude even though the foot massage was decent. As I was paying and we tipped them the one lady starts screaming at us "this is not enough" I always tip very well over 20% but she didn't like what I handed to both of them! It is my choice to tip, and I was being very generous after spending over $100 already. After her yelling at us for well over 3 minutes I finally said you have all the money from my wallet I don't know what else to tell you. The way that she verbally attacked us for the time being in an establishment. I would never go back there again! It definitely is not the same owners, everything about that place now is not good. I went in for a foot massage and the service was great. I suffer from ball of foot pain. Today, the pain was so bad, I knew that I needed a foot massage. I only did half an hour, but hope to add on for the next visit. I am happy to support small business. We all need these services during this stressful time. very disappointing... Went in today to get a foot massage and was told she would not take my gift certificate from the old place because it was too old... Note that it never expired so I could use it at any time, but she refused refused to take it... Definitely lost a customer...
