They re-leveled the driveway, brought in the crush and run and laid it out even and vibrated it into place. No complaints from me, a similar estimate was exactly twice as much as Joe's. I have no idea what the "right cost" should be, I just know when you agree to a price for a particular service, you pay it. I'd hire him again.

However, two weeks after signing the contract and handing over a deposit, they suddenly claimed the project would now cost $29K. My key Issues: Bait-and-Switch Pricing: The final quote was more than double the original agreed-upon price with vague and VERY inconsistent reasoning. Vanishing Deposit: When I chose to cancel due to the massive price hike, they claimed my entire deposit had already been "used up" on excavation. Lack of Integrity: They committed to a budget just to get the signature, only to move the goalposts immediately after. We are currently pursuing legal action to address these practices. This company is simply not worth the stress or the financial risk. I met many reputable masonry and concrete companies during my bidding phase--I strongly suggest you look elsewhere, you've been warned.

My wife talked with him & got a price of$4k for installing a circular driveway & side of our house drive. The crew worked until it was too dark to see exactly what they were doing. Tom promised to come back to finish loose ends. I had to call him several times & left messages each time. He never responded. I would not trust this company again and I found out later that I could have had asphalt for the same price.

I asked how much it would cost they answered they do not know because they do not know yet how much they have loaded in their truck. I asked 300-400$ - the guy told me that doesn't know. Isked for best estimated- they said again that doesn't know. So three of them brought old milled asphalt and spread it out - then asked me for $4k. I was shocked. Started bargaining. Gave them my savings of $2750. Ten minutes later I found out they do government contracting for roads and driveways - so they ripped me off and dumped their work. After google search for that money I was able to do nice asphalt pavement not the load of crumbles.
