My technician arrived right on time and his name was Ethan Chenault. Ethan was first class all the way. He performed a 29-point inspection of my entire garage door system and shared with me in great detail all the components and their function. Ethan then worked up a quote and I agreed on the spot to have the work performed that same day. I ended up getting an all-new motor, brackets, springs, keypads, rollers, etc. When I tell you I could not be happier it's the God's honest truth. In a post COVID world having a TRUE PROFESSIONAL in 2024 is like a breath of fresh air. A1 Door charges a high premium and in my opinion it's worth every penny. The icing on the cake was when my wife came home and was more fascinated by the new door than I was. She found it remarkable that the same door and rail system could magically become so QUIET. They will take your money and you will see zero results. I literally wasted hundred of dollars and will have to wait until the Fall of 2020 to start the growing process. See the concerns I had and the responses the CLS provided below before my services were canceled. I hope this makes your decision easy in NOT choosing CLS!!! MY CONCERN #1: There is no new growth where the yard was seeded and overdressed. I honestly see no difference from when your service was started to date. CLS' RESPONSE #1: We used the more expensive composite overdressing after seeding.We have completed the work requested, the seed was within the year testing and purchased this year from our provider. The compost was spread over the property as per described in the job request. We are not able to guarantee growth of the seed because there may be other circumstances that prevent growth and aftercare needed which we do not provide. We will provide a soil sample report in the coming week to see if there is an issue that we did not know about. NOTE #1: CLS advertise there is a 100% no risk guarantee but that is a lie. I also requested that they do a soil sample before starting their lawn care services. I ended up buying my own seed and saw a major difference. I could not get the best results because it was late in the season. MY CONCERN #2: There are still weeds in my yard. You told me that the new growth will choke out the weeds. So what happens when you have no new growth as stated in my first concern? CLS' RESPONSE #2: Addressing weeds is a process, yes growth of grass and establishing a lawn will help, but starting from when weeds are present there are several treatments needed in order to be weed free or a dramatic change. NOTE #2: I told CLS that nothing was growing within the first 2 weeks after I did the recommended watering. No action was taken on CLS' part. MY CONCERN #3: The back yard was treated for weeds when it was not suppose to be. What are we doing about this portion of my back yard? CLS' RESPONSE #3: We discussed this matter and there is not anything we can do about treating the weeds in the back yard. The soil would not allow growth because it is fill dirt, I understand that you would like it to be green and the weeds were allowing that, however there is nothing we can do to help growth of new green in the back. NOTE #3: CLS killed the weeds I wanted in my back yard to prevent erosion. If you preform a service that is not requested you should fix that error.
