We filed a AAA claim to get assistance and also called the police. Within minutes, Nate F. called us to first see if we were okay and confirm our location. We]called the police due to our location on the highway being extremely unsafe and no space to change the tire. The officer arrived and then left us! We couldn't believe he wasn't going to keep his lights on to not only protect us from getting hit by oncoming traffic but also prevent other drivers from hitting the same pothole. Within minutes, Nate arrived, immediately had his flashing lights on, and started diverting traffic to keep everyone in the safest position possible, given the situation. He then changed our tire and helped us get merged back onto the highway safely. He was our HERO of the day! MOE, Nate deserves a HUGE bonus or raise! He was amazing!!

My car broke down September 4th (the day after Labor Day), and fortunately it was close enough to…read morethe I-4 Champions Gate exit ramp to nurse the car down to the Ale House right there and wait. Called AAA at 1:40pm, and this (Requick Auto Service) was the company that was dispatched to tow me. I was told 90 minutes (3:10pm) since they were busy for the holiday. Cool, I get it. 3:30 rolls around (now 1 hour, 50 minutes), still no word. We call again. "Sorry, it's busy. He's on the way now. Should be another 30 minutes, maybe less." Ok..... 4:00 comes... And goes. 4:15... 4:30... Should we call again? 4:45 (3 hours and 5 minutes after the initial call--more than double the promised time for those of you keeping track) The driver finally shows up. Requick was on the door, "New Life Towing" in a giant blue script vinyl decal on the back window. Still not sure if this was a company name, or a bit of personal flair. (My GoogleFu and Yelp Ninja skills found nothing, so I'm guessing the latter.) No acknowledgement of the wait. No apologies. Barely talks at all except to give directions on where to position the car and confirm where we're going. The car gets loaded up and ready to go in 5-10 minutes. At least that part was fast. We made it to the destination in 40 minutes due to rush hour. The driver showed up 6 minutes later, which is very reasonable considering the traffic. In all, this part of the trip was fairly uneventful. My car had no visible damage from the trip, which is always good, lol. Car gets dropped off, "Are you paying cash or card?" Card. "Ok, you have to call the number to make a payment." I call. The phone's answered "Hello?" No business name, no self-identification, nothing. Not inspiring much confidence in providing my payment info over the phone. Me: "Is this Requick Auto?" Them: "Oh! Yeah, yeah.... Can I help you?" Me: "I'm calling to make a payment." Them: "A payment..?" Me: "Yes. For my car that your company just towed?" Them: "Oh, ok. Can you call back in 15 minutes? I'm a little busy tight now. Tell the driver he's ok to go ahead." Me: "Ok..." Look...I don't need red carpet service. A simple "sorry for your wait" would have been fine. But between that and the double promised time wait, this was a poor experience, even by towing company standards. Also, the fact that we had to call repeatedly with no effort on the part of the driver or company to notify us of the additional wait time was bad form. "I'm too busy" to take your payment right now??? Come on... If you're in a situation where you have another option, I would recommend trying another company. I cannot honestly recommend this company after the experience I've had.
