Their language (MF this and MF that) was so loud my neighbors could hear it. They left cigarette butts on my driveway and yard as well as leaving large sections of gutter downspout in the bushes in front of my house. Mike came to my wife during the install and said he forgot to include something in the bid and had her give him $50 dollars to cover it. Thats not right. After the install was partially complete at 14:30 on Friday we were told someone would be out to pick up the pile of old gutters in front of the house that afternoon. The we received a text telling us it would be Saturday. No one showed up Saturday. we texted no response. Was finally able to reach Mike Monday. He came and picked up the old gutter material and said he was going to get his blower and would be back. That was 10 days ago. I cleaned up their mess. I would give them zero stars if I could. Also the roofing company that recommended Scotts to us came out during this and saw the mess. They were embarrassed and very apologetic for recommending them.

He's a NC licensed (Q.104901) & insured general contractor...yeah I did my homework... so expect him to bring a higher level of expertise to the job. I speak from personal experience that Jim is on the job doing the work himself or ensuring the job is done to his demanding expectations. He just finished our down-to-the-studs kitchen & half bath renovation in our 1980's built home....everything from removing outdated florescent lighting, popcorn ceilings, dropped soffits, a wooden backsplash, non-vented cooktop exhaust, improperly installed granite countertops and failing cabinets. The only thing left was the existing porcelain tile floors. We now have much taller solid wood cabinets, recessed & under cabinet lighting, spectacular quartz countertops, a properly vented cooktop exhaust as well as an intricate herringbone tile backsplash! Since we eliminated the cabinets above the cooktop, he suggested a tall narrow cabinet recessed into the wall to the right of the cooktop which provided easy access to the items needed for daily cooking. He's definitely a problem solver! Plus he replaced the frustrating wire shelving in the pantry with custom built shelving which provided tons of additional storage. With the removal of the dropped soffits, our kitchen feels much larger without adding any additional square footage. He also renovated a half bath that only had a shower and a toilet...no sink! Didn't get a before picture, but have included an after. All I can say is I'm in love with my dream kitchen and new bath! Reach out to Jim to discuss your project.
