Previously the dinner venue had provided a simple rose...but it changed to a carnation. We live out of state, so I called various floral shops to discuss what I wanted for these tables. I discovered Botanical Designs through their website and photos! I was also able to find exactly what I was looking for! It was a beautiful single rose design -- but truly spectacular! It was also called, "My One and Only" -- so perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. When I called to order, they were so friendly, and professional and discussed the color choices and made recommendations, as well. I arranged to have them delivered to the venue. The week prior, I called to update them with the hours the venue might be available for delivery. I spoke with another person at Botanical Designs, who was equally personable and he assured me that they would take care of the details. He was very reassuring. The evening of the event, I discovered the designs were even more beautiful in person and beyond my expectations. I will definitely be using Botanical Designs again when needing floral designs in the St. Louis area. I also provided the Bride and her mother with their contact information! I do not have a green thumb at all, so I asked the lady to make me a full bouquet that was safe for my cats. She put together a beautiful fall bouquet and googled all the flowers to make sure they were safe for my pets! One thing to note is the flowers and fillers are priced per stem and they range from $2-$5. My bouquet ended up being $50, but was well worth it supporting a small business and having a beautiful bouquet to look at all week.

She did not turn her nose down at us for our more *modest* floral budget (I had no idea how much flowers were going to cost!). And she helped us find ways to reduce the cost and make our wedding something beautiful that we could afford. We had two consultation appointments with her in her Webster Groves studio. When you walk into her shop, you can smell the fragrance of all of her fresh flowers. On our first visit, we were mainly discussing ideas and trying to price out our contract. She has tubs of silk florals so that you can visualize what she is seeing when she is discussing all kinds of flowers you've never heard of. She also uses her laptop as a tool and even sometimes brought out some of her fresh flowers to show us. She has a lot of vases and things to rent to help create your vision and she seems to respect all different styles and tastes. On our second consultation, closer to the date of our wedding, we finalized our plans. I even changed up a few of our ideas for the bouquets, and Melinda was very helpful. When it came to the wedding day, we were worry free! Melinda herself was at the church helping to pin all of the men's flowers on and get the bouquets/corsages to the ladies. When we arrived at our reception, everything was perfectly in place! We also had Les Bouquets add flowers to our cake. Every detail was exact! At the end of the night, Melinda's husband and business partner came to help clean up and collect the vases we had rented. He was great and even brought out floral paper to wrap the centerpieces in so our guests could take some home! My bouquet lasted beautifully for weeks, and now I've dried it hoping to find something cool to do with it. When I got back all of our wedding photos, I have to say that the flowers were my favorite part. They are so vivid and bright--they are exactly what we wanted, and I could not be happier with our choice of going with Les Bouquets!
