The road leading down to the winery is very narrow and has a very sharp hairpin turn so I would not recommend driving if you have a motorhome. I don't think they accept groups of more than six. I believe it was the owner Lori??,who did our tasting. She is a sommelier and gave us very good information on the wines that we tasted. All the wines we tasted were excellent. I'm a white wine drinker and my favorite was the pinot gris (a gold medal winner). My husband was blown away by the two barrels (so called because they only made two barrels). Considering the quality of the wine the prices are very reasonable. I'm glad that we discovered Savard Wines. There is a tasting fee but it is waived with purchase. This is a real gem and well worth the stop for amazing quality wines at fair prices.

We found the annual delivery commitment smaller than other wineries (6 bottles, twice yearly) with a 15% discount but will be ordering more now that those deliveries are complete. I'm not a wine snob at all, but these are great tasting wines at a good price from a top four B.C. Winery reputed. Well worth a visit once the tasting room opens again.

We asked for another glass as one of the guests didn't like the wine and wanted a clean glass and he said no. I can't give you another glass we don't have any and im like come on, you can bring it clean glass theres tons of them right there, and I pointed. He was rude and did the ugh remark and brought her a glass. After that we didn't see him again. So none of us bought anything. He rushed thru the tasting and we felt like we were bothering him. Out of the 5 wineries we went to this one was by far our least favourite experience. Nice view tho. Too bad one waiter can leave such a bad taste in your mouth. If you don't like your job Josh, move on. I won't be back.

Yay! a taste of some fresh, 'spring-like' air, and a nice, Okanagan BC wine to savour, before heading back inside, and to the kitchen to prepare dinner. The wine -- a BC Wine Studio signature wine -- Siren's Call '2015 Harmonious' - a Bordeaux-style blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, and Petit Verdot. Some great red varieties, of dark-red fruits, and spice. For me, the blend offered a rich, quite strong, bold, and flavourful taste. And the 'spicy flavour' contribution from the Malbec was definitely there (love it!). I much-enjoyed my first tastes yesterday, and look forward to today's balcony-break and more -- but not to seeing the bottle empty!!

Their blackened chicken & goat cheese sandwich with the candied jalapeños, pickles (gherkins I believe) and arugula is second to none. My only regret about their sandwich is that I didn't have room for a second one because of their generous portion of both sandwich and crispy delicious fries. I can't say enough about them. It may have been even better than the first time I had it. Like I said, consistent and consistently delicious. Well worth the 80km drive to get to them. Highly, highly recommended! Not sure what I can't check the "service" box at the top of this review but to be clear, the food and the service was top notch. Try as I might, I don't have a single critique including price! They had a couple of case deals. Spacious patio but not the most relaxing with cars zooming by on the highway. - 2020 Back Door viognier - 2020 Speakeasy gewurztraminer - good floral, lychee notes. - 2021 Locked up muscat - interesting earthy finish. Bought a bottle ($12.00 special). - 2020 Okanagan Hills estate reserve pinot gris - Secret stash rose blend - slightly sweet, fruity. Easy summer sipper. - 2019 Bootlegger merlot Decent wines at BDW. 3.5 stars.

The second time I went with my friend from the Coast to do a tasting. We were given a very thorough tasting and at the end of it we were told that everything was open so if there were any specifics we would like to try we could feel free. They did a great job of keeping things clean and had a plexiglass at the tasting table. Great deals in cases and half cases. Loved their cherry wine.
