chose this location using our interval exchange program, wanted to stay away from the touristy…read morechaos of times square area. resort had had many upgrades since hurricanes; the pool deck and surrounding area are lovely, tons of gas grills & propane flat top griddles too. the rooms are weird, at least ours was. it was listed as a "suite". rooms in the area of the building are on a strange half level between 2 other levels. you have to see it to get it. you go up and elevator then have to go down some steps to access your room. upon walking in, you're in the bedroom, through the bedroom is the kitchenette & living room then the screened in balcony facing the ocean. bathroom is off of bedroom. there have been some room updates, like the shower and sink. the bed was AWESOME, great firm mattress & super soft linens. the kitchen is horribly dated, description states there is an oven but NEGLECTS to say that their "oven" is a convection microwave. NO DISHWASHER, so rewash everything before you use it. everything was greasy, guests are expected to wash all dishes, glasses, silverware, etc. and put it away before they depart.
even though we brought our own chairs and umbrella for the beach, there are lots of umbrellas, chairs, beach toys to use & enjoy at your leisure. best part of this location is the HUGE beach. it is a walk to get to the shoreline, but so quiet, relaxing and void of people. like we had the whole beach to ourselves.
the check in crew are SUPER friendly, always willing to help. also like the location, easy to get to bonita springs & naples to explore some other dining options besides the ones nearby.
yes, the place is dated, but we were there for the sun & beach. rooms are meant to sleep, shower and store your stuff in. if you get pissy about decor, then stay home and enjoy your own house, it's a vacation, just go, enjoy yourself and don't get hung up on the minutia. i would stay here again, just because of the location!
