Very nice hotel. I was here for a business trip this week and just got back…read more PROS: -Great customer service. Someone else noted on here that they always open the lobby doors for you, which is a nice touch. They also offered me a bottle of water or champagne, I believe it was, upon check-in, I did see the champagne and figured it was for people with status, but I guess not! -Lovely rooms with lots of space, I received one with two queen beds, even though I was just by myself. I also had a partial view of the pool. I ended up going to a lot of the rooms this trip because that's where my meetings were, and one of them had a really nice pool view and sitting area so that must've been a suite. -Pretty nice pool area. I walked around it my first night here and I finally got to use it on my third night. Do note that the lazy river area and waterslides all close at 6 PM, which made it difficult as my meetings usually went until five or 6 PM. There are maybe 5 pools including an adults pool (ages 17+). -Meeting spaces were all very nice but kinda spread apart ... a bit of a walk sometimes. CONS: -The shower in my room had very weak water pressure, I think because the knob that you turned to get it from bath to shower was not functioning correctly. (however: the bath tub was very nice ... one picky thing, though, the shampoo and conditioner and body wash are mounted on the wall so that's really difficult to use if you're taking a bath...) -You definitely need a car to get around (or Uber). I did DoorDash 2 of the 3 nights because of this. -On my last night doing DoorDash, the restaurant I ordered from didn't give me any utensils. I called the hotel restaurant to see if they could bring me some, and they said yes, but never did ... rather disappointing. This property was probably 4.5/5 from me so I'm rounding up to a 5, and I'd definitely stay here again. I'm pretty sure our conference rate was really reasonable as well, I believe it was $179 per night before taxes.

They were so respectful of the guests and kept our tables immaculately cleared. Access to the island by boat was a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Plus, the captain and boat crew were focused on ensuring patrons had a positive experience by slowing for bird and dolphin sightings and their willingness to take family pictures. In addition, our room was incredible with three balconies and two amazing views. The gym was also nice; all the machines were clean and working, plus it was well equipped. For such a fancy hotel, I was quite surprised there was nowhere to find water. I expected a fruity water station somewhere near the entry, a standard in high-end hotels today. I was also surprised the concierge could not provide a running map. Even with the local construction, the path right out the front door is nice and separated from traffic. I found the run to Target (for a cool coffee drink) was perfect for a 5-miler. Surely the 10-mile option would include even more treats. Having the front doors opened every time anyone approached the front of the hotel was a nice touch.

As Hilton diamond members, we've seen our fair share of embassy suites, and this one was just fine. I would say they are very organized and it makes the place, which looks like any other embassy suite, stand out a bit. The breakfast was really great. The omlette was fantastic, and the food was well stocked, clean and plentiful. The eating are was kept up too. My only complaint is, the pull out sofa had a urine stain on the mattress pad. It was too late at that point to call the front desk, and I'm sure they would have handled it for me.

Anyway, this hotel is billed as a 3 star class hotel and it's definitely that. The lobby and common area were pleasant and all 3 staff members we dealt with were nice enough. Parking was plentiful. The rooms are pretty good. The beds were reasonably comfortable, the decor relatively new and everything was clean, even the air vents which I always look at when I arrive to a hotel. The shower was pretty good, the water was piping hot and they gave us tons of towels which I liked. Also wanted to mention their complimentary breakfast which was decent quality and included custom omelettes. On the downside, we had 3 people on the reservation and there wasn't any bedding for the sofa bed. I made 2 advanced requests for extra pillows and blankets for my kids, once with my reservation and another time via chat in the app before we arrived. Upon arrival I also asked if there was bedding in the room as I requested and I was told that there would be in the storage unit under the living room TV. When I got to the room I was surprised to see there was no storage unit under the TV, it was mounted on a wall with nothing under it. There was also no bedding in any of the storage units nor the closet. I went back down and was able to get everything however it was a bit of a waste of my time after all the effort I had made and a pain because I just wanted to go to bed as quickly as possible. I also want to mention that the floors in the common area, the lobby, the restaurant area and the elevator were either, wet, sticky and/or dirty, and the glass on the front doors and in the elevator were also covered in smudges. We did arrive at 6:00 on a Friday so maybe the cleaning crew had gone home, but it looked like it had been neglected for a little bit of time and wasn't a pleasant visual. All in all I would give this place three and a half stars rounded up to four because we did have a pleasant stay. I would probably stay here again if I had to visit the area in the future.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL THROUGH EXPEDIA…read more I initially contacted Expedia to cancel my hotel reservation after realizing that the hotel was significantly farther from my destination than your website had led me to believe. I was informed by an Expedia representative that although I was past the cancellation deadline, I could request hotel approval and would only be charged one night's stay. Following this advice, I contacted the hotel directly. The hotel manager informed me that because the booking was made through a third-party service, they were unable to cancel the reservation and instructed me to contact Expedia again. I did so, and Expedia reached out to the hotel on my behalf. Despite these steps and the assurance I received from your representative, I was ultimately charged over $500 for the full stay, even though I did not stay at the hotel at all. This directly contradicts what was communicated to me during my initial call with Expedia. I later received a $50 credit toward a future booking, which does not adequately address being charged in full for a stay I never used, nor the incorrect information I was given by customer service. I am requesting a review of this case and a refund consistent with what was originally explained to me, or at minimum a reasonable adjustment to reflect that I did not stay at the property. Unfortunately, I was pass the cancellation date and didn't mind pay for one night as originally agreed to with a representative

The lobby is nicely decorated with secluded seating areas, work spaces, conversational areas and a lovely 3 sided fireplace. The rooms are well appointed and clean as a whistle. I have to extend a special shout out to the front desk employee, Anna. Every time my family saw her, she was super sweet, very nice and accommodating to my family and I'm sure to everyone who crosses her path. The gym, pool, outdoor fire pit and breakfast amenities are on point, well kept, immaculate at all times. The staff that flips and supplies the rooms were professional and on time. The breakfast area is immaculate and the morning staff keep it clean and freshly supplied. This hotel is a great stay with SOOOO many stores and restaurants in the same parking lot!! I walked for an hour each morning and still didn't walk the entire retail area in the Gulf Coast Town Center. It was an enjoyable stay. The hotel shares a parking lot directly across from each other with a Marriott Courtyard and you can use the amenities at either. That was pretty cool. We were comfortable at this hotel. Every single staff member we encountered was friendly and treated us well. Shout out for the great customer service focus as well as to the attention to detail in maintaining a level of excellence in all areas.
